i am standing next to a coworker at lunch when she makes a joke and i say something smart allek. for about 5-10 seconds we just stand there looking in each others eyes and i see her eyes dart back and forth looking at both my eyes and then she looks at my mouth. but then she says something back and goes back to what she was doing. we're good friends and talk a lot, but then sometimes theres these moments when we our eyes lock and theres a feeling i can't describe. is this sexual tension between us or just in my head?

I am not kicking religion, which is based on Faith and Belief, because we all have beliefs, even Science oriented people like myself. I am intrigued though, by the process that seems to occur in our minds, where our beliefs become certainties; also, we dislike any attempt to undermine what we believe.

Can you describe, by recollection of personal experience, any events that changed your beliefs, either promoting it to certainty or eroding it, causing you to rethink your beliefs.

regards
MM

Assuming that the most people posting questions here are Christinas, please tell me why you spread so much hate.

How many postings of Muslims do you see here asking i.e.:
Why Christians eat pork?
Why Christians allow prostitution?
Why Christians like to get drunk and take drugs?
Why Christinans do this and that?

The same time Christians here talking bad about Muslims, their believes and the Quran, many people getting killed through Christian soldiers and military support by Christians.

Where in the Bible is it written Christians are suppose to do that? How many people got killed in the name of Jesus? Are there no Christian criminals, wife beating, lying, cheating etc. etc?

If both, Christians and Muslims would go by their books, it would be a peaceful world. Stop generalizing and show more respect for each other.

I am married, first off. There is a couple that my husband and I are friends with that is having major problems. It is like they hate each other. They both talk to my husband and I about the other one. The other night, my friends husband came over and my husband was not at home and I was home alone. He was obviously drunk, and may have been high. He was giving me one big sob story. I felt very uncomfortable then, because he started to talk about what a great listener that I was, and how he just wanted a good woman( because his wife is cheating on him, but she says that he beats her[crazy]) and then he hugged me. I thought he wa leaving but he turned around and hugged me again and then smelled my hair and kissed my neck. I do not know what to make of this. What do you think?

P.S. I did push him away and try to deter him from making any further advances.

I have seen so many Anti-American questions posted on this site! People are grossly generalizing Americans as fat, stupid, lazy, murderous cowards, and I see a lot of people write back "explanations" answering these people. We have nothing to explain! Don't give these people the satisfaction of hearing Americans say "We aren't ALL like that" No American's are what they are stereotyped as. If they hate America so much, why are they sitting at their Gateway computer (that runs Windows), talking to American's on an American run website? It is ridiculous. They are just showing their ignorance and lack of education. It is no different than high school girls spreading rumors that the pretty girl is a stupid slut. There is no truth to their statements. It just makes them feel powerful to say what they say. In reality they are jelous of your money, your power, your opportunities, and your country. Be proud, and don't even respond.

Like, so they dont cause rucus and do bad behaviour, thinking they would go to hell? Just a thought and just want your thoughts aswell.
