Do they exist anywhere outside of my head?

Last night i dreamt of this family a woman & her 3 young daughters and they were as real (it felt) as me sitting here now.

Do they exist anywhere? another dimension?!?

I can honestly say I had not seen her before and the dream was based in the N.E. of England, an area I have not travelled in.

It would be very nice if it were a glimpse of my future!

It sounds to me like a "Dream-Swap". Your brain-waves became airborne and crossed paths with someone else's. This other person was probably acquainted with the family in your dream. That person most likely got the dream which was originally in your head before the exchange took place.

Based on what you are saying, it sounds like you want that dream to be real. Maybe that's the point. Perhaps this dream was a way to tell yourself that you're ready to make a change, work toward establishing a family or close relationships. Many people dream similar things when they are at a transition point in their lives. It's just a nice "heads up" from your subconscious.
I don't really believe in dream analysis, per se. I think what's most important in our dreams is how we feel in them and what we feel is important about them. It sounds like you want that family. Could that be true?
I hope you find what you want, best wishes.

Oh good question. I often wonder about that. I had a really vivid dream the other night which I knew was a dream but I could taste, smell and feel everything. There was this quite attractive and passionate young man in it...........but in the end I rejected him in favour of a box of orange flavoured match makers. I figured as it was a dream the calories wouldn't count so I ate the lot. Well I am married and middle aged!

Your brain sees hundreds of faces each day and each one of those faces goes into your short term memory. It's normal that those faces may pop up into your dreams and sometimes other things from the day will mix and blend and create dreams. Maybe you saw this woman's face and three younger girls, maybe you saw a family and it just stuck. You may not have even realized it! Dreams can feel very real, it's all a part of dreaming. Maybe you weren't actually in REM cycle, where you can't move and can't control your dreams, maybe it was more of a Twilight stage if you could slightly control the dream, what to say or what they were saying (if anything). Maybe that would effect how you remembered or even created the faces.

Hope this helps. After all, dreams are still just dreams.

There is a theory that says that the plane that we go to when we dream is real. The people there are real, but in a different dimension so are only real when we go there in our dreams. I am inclined to believe this, as I often dream of the same people, people I don't know here in this plane of existence. But in my dreams, over the years, the places I've dreamed of are always coming back. It is thought these places we go to in our dreams are like a universities, and when we go there, we are there to go over what has happened in our daily lives to learn how to deal with this life. I really like this train of thought, and find it comforting to know it. It may not be true, but I like to think it is. Good question.

Dreams are sometimes real - when my dad died he visited a couple of my brothers in dreams. The dreams seemed so real that one of my brothers could not believe that it was a dream. also we have premonitions in dreams - you could of got a glimpse of your future. A wise person told me once that if anything was going to visit you they would visit in your dreams when you are relaxed and sleeping and not in the day when there is a lot of busyness happening.

I think its a premonition of something or a ancestor who has passed on is making contact for some reason..................................

Sometimes in dreams they are symbols. Like a cigar it could mean a cigar or it could mean penis. LOL
