there is a chapter which talks about kind of personaliy traits one have like karamyogi, rasbhogi etc.

main 'geeta saar' is what u wrote -
Be a karmayogi,
means,
just do , don't think of its fruits
don't expect from anybody,
live as if u just r for the world.
God Krishna
describes an art of living in His "Geeta"
it's too lengthy, and has deeper
meanings can't explain the whole thing
simply, u will find
remedy of every sorrow of life in "Geeta"

the saar of geeta is that do everything self less , you will be freed from the boundations of death and birth.if you are selfless for anything you will always be in the state of happiness with your soul. Think beyond this worldly things like lust,love , anger,....... which are temporarily and consumes the valuable time of your life.
