As an American, the only things coming from Mexico and Latin America that I feel are threat are drugs and criminals. I wish we would allow more people who are needed to support our economy to immigrate here. I don't think building a fence will end all ills, but were this fence to makes it easier to stop or restrict the flow of drugs, I would perhaps support building it, though I have yet to hear anything conclusive about how useful it would be and the costs of building it. I suppose I am not for it for the purpose most people would assume it would be built for, but I can see the benefits as well.

That's got to rank as one of the stupidist things Bush has done. It does not cover the entire border. If you wanted to keep the neighbors dog from your yard, would you build a fence halfway on the property line? Of course not. Does Bush think the Mexicans are so dumb that they would never figure to go around it? As far as the impact goes, the Mexicans must think we're stupid. Pros and cons? There are no pros.

Division...where in history has it not caused conflicts?

The big picture:

Justan Illusion said to Wall Builder "Holdem Back said everyone is bad we must stop them." Nextly Oppression came into the picture and everyone started hanging out with Allour Anger which resulted in everyone getting involved with Natzo Peaceful.

A rule is a rule...a job is a job and our government should not be subcontracting it's job out to a wall...as if that will...I won't go there. The dignity of people in both beautiful countries is at risk.

My husband and I have many Mexican friends and many we have become close to but it still sucks what they get away with bc of your government. Its not all their fault. We let them in. Now we need to do something about it. If they want to come over their and be expected to pay the same(taxes) go by the same guidelines for government assistance, then come on over. But make it fair for one as it is for all. ---They will get around the wall. Wouldn't you if it was better on the other side and no one could get you?

It's about as cute as the idea to have redneck civilians with guns patrol the border.
