I am married, first off. There is a couple that my husband and I are friends with that is having major problems. It is like they hate each other. They both talk to my husband and I about the other one. The other night, my friends husband came over and my husband was not at home and I was home alone. He was obviously drunk, and may have been high. He was giving me one big sob story. I felt very uncomfortable then, because he started to talk about what a great listener that I was, and how he just wanted a good woman( because his wife is cheating on him, but she says that he beats her[crazy]) and then he hugged me. I thought he wa leaving but he turned around and hugged me again and then smelled my hair and kissed my neck. I do not know what to make of this. What do you think?
P.S. I did push him away and try to deter him from making any further advances.

i would confront him about it and see what he says. if he continues to put you in an uncomfortable situation confront his wife and tell him to stay away from your home. somewhere along the line you may want to fill your husband in on this behavior.

You say "Obviously he was very uncoherent, and didn't know what he was doing. I wouldn't worry about what happened.", so if he killed someone, the fact that he was drunk makes it ok then?

My advice is simple: Do not allow the cancer that is consuming their marriage to infect the relationship you have with your husband.
This man was looking to take advantage of your sympathy towards him, and given the oppurtunity would have made you a cheating wife, just like the one he has at home.

Good for you for not falling into any temptation. What I make of it is that he was intoxicated and emotional. You were a shoulder to cry on......give him advice but make it clear to him that you are not interested as you are married. Im sure if he was sober that most likely wouldnt have happened. However, Im sure there were underlying feelings there for you before that. He is feeling lonely, insecure, and betrayed. Hes looking for a motherly figure to console him. Be there to listen and as a friend but draw the line.

you definately did the right thing, had you allowed the situation to procede as he intended, the end result would have probably been violent as he totally lost respect for you and yelled something like "You Women are all the same!!!" You have set the boundaries of your "freindship" Don't let up on them, because the "cancer that destroyed their marriage is trying to move into your house.

Hi friend, it is dangerous now. Go tell your husband and stay out of trouble. Else, the next couple having poblem is yours.
Be clear of your mind, and place your family in the first place, and not anyone else. Not even your own emotions. Don't. .. Do something to safe your marriage, and your family.

Tell your husband, and it is probably best to avoid contact with this man, especially if he is an abusive drunk. Honestly, he sounds like the type to take what he wants.

Obviously he was very uncoherent, and didn't know what he was doing. I wouldn't worry about what happened. I just would make sure he don't come over like that when your hubby isn't around anymore, just to make sure he doesn't decide to beat you or anything else.

That guy is brainsick. He want to get away from his problems and want to get other favour. If he beats her wife he have no manner, so try to avoid him and tell your husband about him clearly.
