There are three belief systems world wide as to what happens when we die.
1) We decompose, the void, the end, ain't no more. If this belief is true then we need only be concerned with our own personal pleasure here, do what we want to who we want and if the law don't catch us we are good to go.
2) When we die we are judged and go to heaven or hell.
3)spiritual, reincarnation, keep coming back here until all lessons are learned. Karma is: what goes around comes around.
you reap what you sow, cause and effect for every cause their is an effect maybe not in the same life period. Karma
Each human has a personal relationship with god or not as they exercise their right to their belief system. It is good to share each others beliefs, it is bad to try to force another to believe as you do.

Yes, it most certainly is true. I am convinced there is life after death for one reason: Jesus Christ died and was placed in a tomb—and three days later came back to life.
Think about it a moment: What would it take to prove to us that there is life after death? The answer is clear: Someone would have to die, and then come back to life again. It wouldn't be enough for them to have a so-called "near-death" experience; their death would have to be real. And it wouldn't be enough for only one or two people to see them; it would require many witnesses.
But has this ever happened? Yes—when Jesus Christ rose from the grave! His death was real; hard-bitten Roman guards made sure He was dead before they took Him down from the cross. And His resurrection was real also, because hundreds saw Him during the next forty days. Paul, writing over 25 years later, noted that "he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living" (1 Corinthians 15:6).
How could this happen? It happened because Jesus Christ was not just another man. He was God's only Son, sent from heaven to save us from our sins. Only He could say, "I am the resurrection and the life. ... Whoever lives and believes in me will never die" (John 11:25-26). This can be your hope, by giving your life to Christ today.

No clue, nor will I pretend to know. I try not to worry about death or the end of the world.
Here is my view on death.
When our souls originally separated from The One, they set out to seek knowledge. Planets and plants and animals were created so our souls might understand how to live in harmony.
When something dies, or one of a planet's numerous "souls" is tired, they go to a place beyond time and space (hey, that rhymed. I'm a poet and didn't know it) called the Summerlands. There is where they review their life and figure out what they want to learn next.
When our soul has learned how to live in harmony, we re-assimilate into The One. This means that you become part of God again. You are still an independant soul, but instead of having the Gods (a mask used by The One so we can be better aquainted with The One) as fathers or mothers, they become our sisters and brothers. By then, you don't really need the Gods as a tool for getting close to God, but you want them because of that intimate relationship you built on Earth.
Anywho, what's just what I think.

1. "Know thou of a truth that the soul, after its separation from the body, will continue to progress until it attaineth the presence of God, in a state and condition which neither the revolution of ages and centuries, nor the changes and chances of this world, can alter. It will endure as long as the Kingdom of God, His sovereignty, His dominion and power will endure. It will manifest the signs of God and His attributes, and will reveal His loving kindness and bounty."
2. "As to the question whether the souls will recognize each other in the spiritual world: this fact is certain; for the Kingdom is the world of vision where all the concealed realities will become disclosed. How much more the well-known souls will become manifest. The mysteries of which man is heedless in this earthly world, those he will discover in the heavenly world, and there will he be informed of the secret of truth; how much more will he recognize or discover persons with whom he hath been associated. Undoubtedly, the holy souls who find a pure eye and are favored with insight will, in the kingdom of lights, be acquainted with all mysteries, and will seek the bounty of witnessing the reality of every great soul. Even they will manifestly behold the Beauty of God in that world."
3. "... a love that one may have entertained for any one will not be forgotten in the world of the Kingdom. Likewise, thou wilt not forget (there) the life that thou hast had in the material world."

Not directly after death though. The dead stays in their grave/burial ground and awaits the Resurrection.
Job 14:14Â If an able-bodied man dies can he live again?
All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait,
Until my relief comes. 15Â You will call, and I myself shall answer you.
JOhn 5:28"...all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29Â and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. "
“The sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them.” (Revelation 20:13) At the time of their resurrection, those who went “down to the sea in ships” or drown there will be able to see life again.
Jesus, the firstborn from the dead (Colossians 1:18) is our guarantee that the resurrection is real.

No matter what the belief, reality stays the same. People adopt beliefs which make a virtual reality -- not true but lived as if it were true.
However, there is a way to find out NOW -- it's called enlightenment. And beliefs can be used as tools to get u to that experience but the experience makes the beliefs useless after that.

Some guy on the radio was just saying that he was a horse his last time around. I recall a stint in Atlantis and one aboard a Clipper ship. Not to mention an engagement in WWII Pacific Theatre as a lt.
It only makes sense.

Yes is true. though hard to explain because our Body is left behind, time in there will not affect you, it will not affect your senses, there is no for thinking, everything is according to the needs of our own individual inner self, the Living energy. and then we may need to come back and experience and learn some more about our self, (the living energy), the inner self that shares this, life and our space in the World(Universe), with our spiritual being, and our Soul, to make our mind Greater. God bless you, in the name of Jesus.Amen.

Life continues. "Another" life? No. Same life. As the Requiem Mass Preface says: "the life of the faithful is not taken away, but changed". Same life, different state of being.
