Some folks cringe at the word "alcoholic" and hold unfavorable views of Alcoholics Anonymous? Are they being judgmental? Are they afraid? Or are they right to hold a dim view of alcoholics and AA.

Thank you. I asked this question to show that atheists are not mean like a lot of Christians think. I am a christian and yes I would help an atheist in the same situation. I wouldn't be pushy about my religion, I would leave that up to God. You should just tell them and if they don't like it, I let God do the work. We shouldn't jam it down their throats. Good answers. I mean it obvious American black people are better at sports. There's no denying it, we're obviously not the same. I read a stat that said 85% of black private college students wouldn't have been accepted if not for their skin color. I'm not looking for any sociosupresedslavery liberal garbage just heads up reality. Are white far superior to blacks in the brain dept?

This is for an English assignment I'm doing and I've got my seven commandments, but I was wondering what others would put as their commandments.

The commandments I used were simple and you could definitely tell they came from the mind of a teenager (well at least I thought so).

They were as followed (not in any specific order):
1. Respect everyone, even if they don't respect you.
2. Stealing things is wrong, no matter what the value is.
3. Hurting others just for the sake of hurting them is intolerable. Sorry for all the sadists.
4. No one should be scared to be who they are; posers don't exist.
5. Cliques are okay as long as they don't shun others.
6. Accept others; it's the right thing to do -- no one's perfect.
7. No one is looked down upon unless they've done something incredibly heinous and unforgivable.

Since you believe what the bible says about our origins is the truth. That we were created seperately from all other life. Math clearly shows that 2+2=4 and Science clearly shows that all life, including humans, evolved through natural selection on this planet.

To put it another way, where is the logic in religion? Science and Math shows us what IS true, religion is what people WANT to be true. It just "feels" right to believe what a book tells us. It doesn't feel right that we evolved from simple organisms.

Evolution is better science than Genesis.

what are you, Christians, do to recognise him?
the logical thing to assume is that he will come as he already did in the past (born in a poor family and fighting against the established system) so how are you gonna believe is him?

How evolution and creation are even close to each other in the race for public schools?

Evolution is scientific thery note the word SCIENTIFIC, So in turn it should be taught in ya know science class.

Creation is something found in a 2,000 year old religious book. Not all people follow that relgion and if you want people to hear it send them to private school or homeschool them.

This just stupid how people think they are even close to each other on any scale.

I am the kind of person who does look down apon ANY relgion being taught in school even my own.

And FYI evolution is a religious thing.

This is as ridiculous as Harry Potter book bans.
