This is for an English assignment I'm doing and I've got my seven commandments, but I was wondering what others would put as their commandments.

The commandments I used were simple and you could definitely tell they came from the mind of a teenager (well at least I thought so).

They were as followed (not in any specific order):
1. Respect everyone, even if they don't respect you.
2. Stealing things is wrong, no matter what the value is.
3. Hurting others just for the sake of hurting them is intolerable. Sorry for all the sadists.
4. No one should be scared to be who they are; posers don't exist.
5. Cliques are okay as long as they don't shun others.
6. Accept others; it's the right thing to do -- no one's perfect.
7. No one is looked down upon unless they've done something incredibly heinous and unforgivable.

That's a good question, if I were to have my 7 commandments, it would be...(Also not in specific order)

1.First impressions are NOT always true. Consider getting to know the person first before assuming anything else.

2. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

3. If you want to have real friends, don't try and act like someone else.

4.Treat your friends like family.

5.Don't let a person's race be a barrier from communicating with them.

6. White people and black people don't exist. Only humans. Let the sense of equality lead the way.

7. There is absolutely nothing you can give in exchange for a human life. No one has the right to take anyone's life because we all just borrowed it from someone. Only "he" has the right to take it away

Great question! Hmmmm....but a tough one.

1. Thou shalt treat others as you want to be treated.

2. Thou shalt respect others religions at all times....and never force your religion on anyone else.

3. Thou shalt not steal.

4. Thou shalt not lie.

5. Thou shalt be kind to animals and never hurt them unnecessarily.

6. Thou shalt help those less fortunate than you.

7. Thou shalt be good stewards of the earth and treat it with respect.

I think that God already covered all those in one way or another...but those are my picks.

I leave that to God. I think he knew what he was doing when he rolled out the Ten Commandments.

There actually is a set of laws called "The Seven Laws of Noahides" that comes from Judaism. Orthodox Jews believe that gentiles need only to conform to these laws to be eternally saved:
Prohibition against idolatry
Prohibition against blasphemy
Prohibition against murder
Prohibition against Theft
Prohibition against sexual immorality
Prohibition against eating the limb of a living animal
Establish Courts of Justice

In other words, if we are going to make seven rules for society, let's just leave it at the Ten Commandments.
