Because thankfully, even not all of the straight people buy into those fairy tales.

Gay is wrong.
If you don't believe in God then you must believe in science, if so science say's it is wrong because if everything was gay then life would cease to exist.
If you say it ok to be gay because we have the right to be gay then I guess you also believe it would be ok to marry an animal, for a man/woman to marry a child, for a father/mother to marry a son/daughter all because they want to and have that so called right.
The reason there are gay pride parades is because of liberal politics. The peolpe of the US will stay quite until something directly affects them and then they will speak up, therefore the Gay spoke up and got the parades because the people against them did nothing.
State (Government) should be separated from church because history shows us how corrupted that form of government can become and you end up with radicals like those in the middle east. However, our country was founded on christianity. Look at any currency "In God's name we trust" , in the court of law do we not swear on the Bible, etc.

Because the people participating in the parade don't care what the scriptures state.

All people on the earth do not have the same religion or belief system. I think that if Jesus were around today, he would be telling us to love one another. Using religion as an exuse for hatred is more of an abomination than throwing a party.

If you haven't already realized
1) there are more people who aren't Christian than Christian
2) some Christian people are 'nonbelievers'
and 3) why stop gay parades when the government will get into more trouble with gays than Christians?

Because people are smarter than to pretend to follow the outdated rules of the past. Let us not forget that stoning people to death and slavery was allowed in the far past scriptures. But we have moved on. LGTB PRIDE!!!

I believe that people, by nature, need a cofirmation of their behavior- good or bad. Our culture is trying to develop something called tolerance. If a person studies history, the person will find that the great civilizations that encouraged, accepted, and tolerated deviant behaviors within its society fell from their position.Hmmm.......I wonder if history repeats itself........it is too bad teachers don't teach that part of history.

The second word in "gay pride" is the key. Pride causes man to elevate himself above all, even God. Since pride was found in Satan he was in rebellion to God, and since he convinced Adam and Eve to sin man has followed him into rebellion. The parades are a display of rebellion. "Look at me, I do what I want! You can't tell me what to do!"

I'm with God on this one... I completely missed the passage in the bible against parades. Also, if you are going to take the Bible word for word then I suppose it is still appropriate to throw stones at children, to kick women out of their homes when they are on their period, or killing your children as a sacrifice or to fullfill a promise. Still, I'd love for you to give me the verses on gay parades. Please, enlighten me.

I wasn't going to answer this but I couldn't pass up on all those thumbs down your getting. But , Why do they call themselves "GAY" ? It's because they are ashamed of what they are really called.I believe that they are under such conviction from God , knowing it to be an abomination, that they can't even call themselves by their true description. Gay means happy. You don't call adulterers; cavalier.

In case you haven't noticed, the United States is not a Christian country. We have freedom of religion and that means freedom to be pagan too. We have the same rights as Christians and that irrates you all doesn't it?
