If America is a Christian country, why are Christians persecuted here, then? We cannot offend people from other 'faiths', yet they are allowed to say anything about us. Why?

Where did the space for the Universe come from?

Where did matter come from?

Where did the laws that govern the Universe come from?

How did matter get so perfectly organized?

Where did the energy come from to do the organizing?

When, where, why and how did life come from dead matter?

When, where, why and how did life learn to reporduce itself?

Shouldn't be too hard to answer if Evolution is so worthy of being taught like scientific fact like it is talked about being.

A friend of mine told me he is 'sorta' wiccan. He has a pantacle around his neck and says it is the same as a pentagram. I realize I am no genius and that I know absolutely nothing about Wicca but aren't these 2 things different. I mean they are similar but they don't even have the same meaning do they? From what I have seen they are really to different beliefs. Can anyone help me with this? I'm am just trying to understand my friend a little more.

What is the Roman Catholic Church's position on cloning and genetic engineering? Their stance on ethical issues such as abortion and euthanasia seem to be more well-known and easier to look up, but I can't find very much on genetic engineering....I read somewhere that the Church disapproves of genetic testing, could anybody give me any more detail, and if you can, some reliable internet/book sources as well?

another child of five mauled to death by the family pet,the dog was probably scared to distraction by the now increasing use of fire works (though the things that are being set off are more like HUGE BOMBS) it's time to stop the indescriminate use of this ANTI-SOCIAL MENACE they are just a nuisance and destroy peoples right to PEACE AND QUIET !!

this question is not to offend women but why is it that some women are not natural.
whether it be that they don't grow their hair naturally, they change their hair color or even having make up, they aren't as natural as they use to be.

Could it be the male gender's fault for imposing on these qualities?

I always seem to get the guests that don't offer to do anything when they come to visit. Is that normal? When I visit other people I help with meals, help pick up, or take the host out to dinner.

The other day when the neighbor girl had invited herself over again, my sister was stealthily teasing me by telling the neighbor girl about how much I talk about her and how many nice things she has heard me say about her. I've told my sister (who is visiting me for the holidays) about how much the neighbor girl stalks me and spies on me and such. So, in Russian, I basically told my sister to stop it and reminded her about how she's fueling the neighbor girl's obsession with me...because I couldn't say it in English of course with the neighbor girl there.

Afterwards my sister told me that she had to tell the girl that I even say nice things about her in Russian. What are the chances that the neighbor girl suspects I was not really saying nice things about her? She doesn't know Russian...only French which is very different.
