I'm sure you are referring to the Old Testament, and did not actually mean the bible? The Septuagint is highly accurate and it was around before Jesus. A modern translation worth considering is the Emphatic Diaglott. One of the worst bibles is the New International Version (NIV). It is toxic and poisonous to the core. If you want accuracy you must do concordant studies, pray and then let the Holy Spirit lead you into all truth. For that you will need to get the King James Version (KJV) even though it is rife with translation errors, it is what James L. Strong used when he coded his work and now all the other bible helps are also coded to Strong's numbering system. After that, try reading, The Message, (or other translations) and you will find the ancient meanings beginning to work Truth in your being.
