Where does he hide himself? What is his purpose?

The Divine exists in all of us, guiding us if we listen. It's generally called our "Higher Selves" We are all a part of the Divine, like drops of water in the ocean, creating the ocean. Some of us act more like the oceans spray, easily dissipated, and some of us are deeper and a part of a much deeper and more constant truth.

He doesn't hide himself. He is not the earth either. God shows himself in love. Right now he is in a place called heaven. Since earth is unpure he shows himself in love. When the last 7 years of earth have happened God will return to show that he is real, right now he is testing you.

firstly the < one > who is god gives you a great things < eyes , legs , hands > can you tell me any other gift better than be in a good health ??
our god is in the sky ,, he is not hiding < what he afraid of ?? > we afraid from his anger , on the other hand he is a forgiven god...things you must know ..jesus was a man < profit> just like us ,,,he is eating , drinking and sleeping , but the real god is not eating , drinking or sleeping

He's there , he helps us from heaven in his own discrete manner. My only doute is when we are truly in need he doesn't respond "help" to us. I don't completely understand your question but all I can say is his purpose is he wants you to be happy.

fortuneatly for beleivers he is not hidden at all. His purpose with us is still as it was when he created Eden. Fortuneatly that will be restored as well.
