My principal wants us to read the Bible to our public school students even though she know it is against the law. She says that we must teach the Bible to the children so that they will become Christian.

We are in the book of Isaiah and next week we will come to the following passage. How do I explain it?

Why, if you tell someone that you live in america do they assume that you are refering to the United States? Are there not many other countrys on both north and south america? Besides, I didn't even use the word America. Some people are so narrow minded.

Have read quite a few posts out here saying that pets don't go to heaven because they can't choose God. So what about people who don't have the capacity to choose? Like babies or young children. Or mentally challenged people.

The ban was put in 2 years ago. It will be bad PR for any politican to lift the ban and the country has more pressing needs then wanting to see the return of chasing a poor creature with a pack of dogs just for fun.
I live in the countryside and most of it is only out of town surburbia for the middle and upper class.

I'm the blacksheep in my family, and I'm the usual target of insults, jokes and put downs. My parents think I'm really stupid, even if I try really hard to get good grades (never got anything below a B), and my sister just treats me like I'm a retard. Overall, I'm treated like a piece of sh*t in our family.

I always see people cringe when they talk about their firsts so that's how this Q came to mind.. So i wondered - does anyone even have good memories of their experience losing their virginity ? Seems for the majority of us it's more a disenchanting moment in our lives of thing's to tick down the box of the overrated. Orrrr.. i wondered, are there actually people out there who did get to experience their first as something truly special ? Not just pleasure wise you know.. A few weeks ago a memo came round the office informing us that due to difficult trading conditions that the company where looking for volentary redundencies and early retirement. After careful consideration, I'm not getting any younger, need a change of pace etc. I, with a heavy heart, put myself forward for early retirement. Now they have thrown it back in my face. They claim you can't retire 35+ years before the state retirement age...they are the ones who wanted volunteers for early retirement. Does anyone think I have a case for age descrimination? Your thoughts please
