I think it might have been my fault. Here's why.

I was watching that TV special - greatest tv moments or whatever. They had the Eddie Murphy does JB singing about a hot tub snippet. Coincidence? I think perhaps not....

I got to thinking about that actor who died, and it was driving me nuts because I couldn't remember his character's name. Then I started thinking about how you sometimes see a list of all the stars who have died that year. I actually thought "I wonder if any other big names will try to get in under the wire."

Then I thought "that's a horrible thing to think; I shouldn't be so blase about people. That's just the kind of thought that comes back to bite you in the ***" (because I suffer badly from instant karma.) So I did my little apology to the PTB hoping to save myself from any horrible repercussions.

Within 30 minutes, I learned of JB's death.

So that's why I think I had a hand in it.

Crazy? Sure. But it's odd....

im sorry to hear about his death, but god is not to blame... do you think that the god of love will kill some one if he made us to live forever on earth? Yet, holding God responsible for man’s woes is like blaming a car manufacturer for the prevalence of drunk-driving accidents. the godfather of soul had a life filled with overdrinking, drug abuse and alot of inmorality.. although he had changed it didnt change the fact that his body went throught all these things.. Luke 21:34 says “But pay attention to yourselves that YOUR hearts never become weighed down with overeating and heavy drinking and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day be instantly upon YOU. so death was the consiquense of his death.. GOD did not kill him because he wanted an angel in heaven. as the bible says in Galatians 6:7, 8 Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap; 8 because he who is sowing with a view to his flesh will reap corruption from his flesh, but he who is sowing with a view to the spirit will reap everlasting life from the spirit

James Brown, "The Godfather of Soul" died on Christmas day had medical conditions that complicated his health.

Brown, a charter member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, died Christmas morning of heart failure after a brief hospital stay to treat pneumonia. He had suffered a number of health problems in recent years, including prostate cancer and diabetes.

Everyone has to die someday, whether you like it or not. In God's word, he says that no man is above death. It doesn't matter if he is the richest man in the world, he gotta go someday.
