i'm not a muslim but have felt inclined to answer this question...i believe what goes around comes around...although i personally wouldn't send back to someone the hate they send to me...
but if you see muslims aren't the only ones discriminated against...surprisingly it is christians as well.
and the point to be notes is that islam is a very controversial religion...this isn't coming just from my bias but the blatant reality that there hasn't been a time when some form of controversy has not surrounded it...perhaps christianity on a lower level is controversial too.
and look at this the two religions are followed by a majority of the world...
but i have seen hatred being spread against very culture and it can be classified as hate because people make ludicruous claims with no evidence backing them simply to insult the other religion...now there is one individual whom i have personally made it my bussiness to answer every question of, who writes the most ridiculous and profane and senseless questions (they aren't even questions but bland statements) critisizing hindus.
please check my profile for further info...anyway so my point is that these people don't even need a reason to get them going...
oh and by the way i havent responded to his answer with hate but just written to him that i am praying for him to get well soon from this illness he has called ignorance and hate!

however if muslims do not fit into the common steriotypes being discribed they shouldn't feel discriminated because it is inapplicable to them...feel offended when your own writes or does somethin that makes your whole culture look bad (it shouldn't be that way but is unfortunately). otherwise they should just say a prayer for these people which is what would be a righteous thing to do.

so my answer once again is that every religion is being discriminated against and we are undermining the significance of god in the process because religion has become something distancing us from god....like bad politics so to speak...
so therefore i refuse to associate entirely with one religion and adopt what i believe is moral from each religion and go on believing in god in its true sense...few would agree with me that i am right but after all that i have studied in history and the profound importance history has in my life to guide me in the direction that tells me that such mistakes shouldn't repeat...i am inclined to believe as i do.

your question actually answers itself...as well as the first three answers do....
Of COURSE muslims feel discriminated against....as usual, 5% of the population starts 95% of the trouble...it goes for every society.
Muslims are just religious people....and there are fanatics,,,,just like in the southern us there are religious fanatical christians...you know..the ones that roll in the aisles and such...and insist on always bombarding you at your home to "join them in Christ"
years ago, the holy wars were carried out by fanatical christians as nothing more than a reason to fight, so Christians are no better than any other religion, there are fanatics all over the world, and they are not limited to the muslims..we christians have our share of idiots too.
That being said, we need to follow our own hearts, and take a step back and THINK before we start discriminating against a group of people because of their secular beliefs....and that goes for ALL of us in this world.
World War II saw Japan open its eyes to the rest of the world. The "discovery" of the new world saw Christianity treat North and South American natives as "heathens". The holy wars...the witch hazings in the US....the communist hunts and trials of the 50's and 60's in the US....Germany's attempt at extinction of the Jews....Bosnia's attack on the Serbs...the IRA attacks....Catholic against Protestant....nobody is immune.
so a message to all: MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!..and take off your blinders so you can see just another person...not a way they are dressed, or where they pray..just another human being!

No

Like another answerer pointed out- Muslims can post all types of garbage into Yahoo! Answers, but anyone who answers with FACTS about Islam ends up with a violation.

Unfortunately the truth is deemed offensive by the Yahoo Answers patrol when it is about Islam. That's the problem with this cult Islam, it itself is offensive. Stating historical facts about Islam comes across as insults to people who don't know the history of Islam and what's actually written in the Qu'ran and Sunnah.

hi (((Eartha))) Is making a sweeping generalization discriminatory? i do no longer think of so. Inflammatory sure. Counterproductive, sure, yet it somewhat is not discriminatory. Discrimination could be to avert a muslim getting a job even although they have been the main suitable qualified. I could say that from my time here in R&S I even have discovered to be greater distrustful of people in faith than earlier. I do, however, have 2 friends here in NZ that are muslim. that's enormously unusual as there are very very few followers of Islam in my united states of america. I could say that that couple are 2 of the main endearing people who it somewhat is been my privilege to appreciate, yet I nevertheless despise their faith. i ask your self how long our friendship will final as quickly as we've a frank communicate approximately our religious perspectives? If mainstream Islam have been to be slightly greater self serious, then i could reasonable my perspectives, however the debacle over the contemporary actual all people Draw Muhammad Day experience shows Islam in detrimental easy: risky, divisive, parochial interior the extreme and no longer able to tolerate valid grievance. the comparable applies to Zionism and fundamentalist Christian perception - for the record. You made the factor that there is no difference between making a racial slur and making a slur against Islam. I disagree. One won't be able to help the colour of the exterior wherein one is born, yet with useful training and the appliance of suggestions capability, you could actually substitute one's religious and social perspectives. whether possible is up for debate. the subject lies with Islamic clerics' intolerance in the direction of any point of view different than their very own (to wit, Pakistan's censorship of facebook, the sanctioned dying threats against Salman Rushdie...). This makes that talk impossible on an excellent scale. Am I conflating Islamic management with all followers of Allah? probable, yet there are center values interior the religion that carry authentic otherwise it does no longer be a effective faith. The center values of all effective religions have an element of belligerence in the direction of competing faiths. till religions of all stripes tone themselves down slightly, i'm going to proceed to hate faith, yet like the religious. i'm going to additionally proceed to make generalist statements approximately faith by using fact there somewhat isn't any wrong thank you to attack the themes.
