There were people in Iran who cried when the two towers fell, but were beaten for their "disloyalty"?

That a man on faithfreedom.org said he wondered if American troops would come to Iran because that's the only way to stop the stonings and the beheadings?

There's a certain peace to be found on the other side of war?

All my family lives about 683 miles south of here. All my friends have their own families or boyfriends to hang out with and I really have no where to go. I lost my husband in 2004 and I'm not an elderly person or anything, I am only 33. What would you do if you were me? Oh, and I am a Christian, so I won't be going to any bars if thats whats coming to your mind. Any suggestions?

Christians please stop monopolising our Pagan Holiday. It's got nothing at all to do with Jesus. Find out when Jesus was born or died and make those your Holidays....Then we can all have more .

Every year at Christmas time I am asked what I want for Christmas. Every year my answer is the same; A stress free, happy, and enjoyable day. My husband and I always get for the kids before we get for us. If I don't have money left to get him a wonderful Christmas present, I will fix his favorite meal; Round Steak with Corn-on-the-cob and mashed potatoes with gravy. He usually gets me something that has to do with what I collect (1 or2 items). When I got up with the kids this morning to open presents, there were of course all children presents. Like any parent you wait to open yours' til last. I had to move ALL my presents out of the way just to get to the kids. My two daughters and husband went all out for me this year. I don't know whether to be happy for all the gifts or feel guilty, because I didn't/couldn't spend alot on my husband?!! But, I do know that this year I felt like I was Appreciate and Loved!!!

If you atheists really do believe that there is a God why do you fight the idea and try to disprove that He exists.

Not following the Social Laws of the Old Testament. If you believe that you don't have to follow the OT's Social Laws, then I must ask you:

1- Can you marry your father's former wife?

2- Can you marry your own sister?

3- If you're a Hindu (male Hindus are allowed to marry their sisters' daughters) and you just recently embraced Christianity, then are you allowed to marry your sister's daughter whom you probably fell in love with before or at least had strong feelings toward, or was probably spoken for, when she was young while you were a Hindu?

4- Can you marry your son's former wife, or daughter's former husband, if you're a dad or mom?

5- CAN YOU MARRY YOUR OWN MOTHER????

The New Testament hardly contains any social law. It certainly doesn't address any of the questions I raised! Only the Old Testament is thorough and contains all of the Social Laws that define the limits of marriage and relationships and other social issues.

Reason guides our attempt to understand the world about us. Both reason and compassion guide our efforts to apply that knowledge ethically, to understand other people, and have ethical relationships with other people.

A religious man is a person who holds God and man in one thought at one time, at all times, who suffers harm done to others, whose greatest passion is compassion, whose greatest strength is love and defiance of despair.

Hey! I just got an iPod for the holidays and wanted to know where on the internet I could find an audiobooks to learn foreign languages. Any suggestions/recomendations? I'm not thinking of a specific language to begin with, so any ideas are helpful.

Pink Floyd: the song 'Sheep' hails a blasphemous version of the twenty third psalm. Elton John: 'I think people ought to draw the line at goats' ('Rolling Stone', '76). The backmasking of Michael Jackson, KISS, John Lennon's 'prophecy' etc. Should the CIA look into it? 'All should come to repentance' (2 Peter: 3;9)

on friday night i met my friends in a busy town centre pub. next to the only table we could stand round they had a new punch bag game machine. (it wasnt in the weekend before)
the table was reallt too close to the machine but the pub was busy and there was nowhere else to stand. a group of lads started playing the game the second lad to have ago hit the punch bag really hard and hit my friend on the arm as he had used too much power and couldnt stop.
all of the people in our group saw it and we couldnt believe it when he wouldnt apologise to her.
yesturday i went to see my friend and to give her son his birthday present. she showed me her arm.
there is a big horrible purple bruise there on her arm where she was hit.

there was no signs up in the pub advising safety around or while using the machine. although we dont know the lad who hit her could we do the pub for health and safety or anything?

the pub was busy and there wasnt anyone like a bouncer or barstaff watch the machin
