The Jews have a long list of names of Jahweh that I read several years ago. Anyone have a list of those or a reference?
Hindus have lists of names of Vishnu and Shiva a thousand names long! FYI

I was raised Methodist but later became Atheist and later became simply partially agnostic....who seeks GOD in a non-denominational Church as well as various arenas such as this. Can someone please explain why I have this weird connection with friends in almost a "we are one force/holy spirit/??" way? I will often have this vision etc and call a friend in a state 1000 miles a way and the vision actually be true. I can't control this and it's always random visions with little benefit other than amusement or just feeling connected. I guess this is the reason that I do believe there is a GOD but in some existence I simply don't understand. No, I do not have any psychiatric disorder etc and actually am very successful. This is just strange and I can't explain it. Seriously. Thanks in advance.

Do all you people REALLY think you are going to stop people from being gay? Do you REALLY htink you are going to stop equal rights for gay and lesbian folks? Do you REALLY think that all your hate and bigotry will accomplish anything at all?
What, do you think that the millions of gay folks in this country and going to hear what you are saying and go "Wow, they really hate me, I'd better go back in the closet or act straight." Do you really think that?
You know, gay and lesbian folks have been around since earliest recorded history and guess what? They aren't going anywhere. Ever. They are here to stay. They will eventualy have equal rights and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Ever.
Its funny. Every time I hear a gay basher or some religious anti-gay fanatic talk, its like listening to Hitler or all those folks back in the '60's speaking out against equal rights for blacks.

Gay rights have EXPLODED in the last 20 years alone. Do you anti-gay bigots REALLY think you can stop it?

It seems sad, 2 of "The big 3" monotheistic religions even after all these years, still have fascism imprinted in them. THey both say they're right and the other is wrong,
Cant they look in a mirror and see that human kindness and love should come over they're fascism and intolerance.

It's all about love for your fellow man. Not damnation.
Your fellow man comes before a god/allah that demands intolerance, ignorance, and lack of respect for mankind.

real question, if you 2 are together but decide to split which one of you gets the baby,, please dont say you will share cause that never really happens,, i saw this recently were a couple was fighting for a 3 year old raised by both but of course the court gave the baby to the biological mother,, so how about it you non biological lesbain, would you fight for custody of a child you did not have but helped raise, and have you talked about this with your partner

Okay so I have yet to get my parents a gift for christmas..

my mom is about 45 or so years old... she works in OBGYN or whatever its called... so I don't know how strict their dress code is... and I got her scrubs a couple of years ago and she has yet to wear them... so yeah... she likes stargate and egyptian stuff, but the only thing stargate around here are the boxsets which she has already and the only shop I knew that had egyptain stuff closed.

my dad is around 40 and is a mechanic... so that means grease, oil, muck and dirt is always getting all over... he works out in the freezing cold sometimes but always complains how gloves get caught up on nuts and such..

what to get them last minute and not cost an arm and a leg?
