I noticed that when a non-spanish speaking person enters the room, all of a sudden the people in there are speaking spanish. My friend from Puerto rico says it's true that they will talk badly in front of you in spanish without you knowing it.
Also , a white guy told me that when he worked with mexicans on the job they would talk about him and he spoke fluent spanish. So is this GENERALLY true?

Every time i hit the "show me another question" button another question about Christianity pops up. -.-' ask something please anything other than do Christains do this... and should Christians do that... and i know that i'm further increasing the Christian questions i just want to know if there is some, maybe alittle diversity? something slightly more non religion orented? then again religion is spiritual dont get me wrong. i just want to see some thing new! can you blame me? dont mean to offend!!! sorry if i did. Got nothing against Christians. or any religions. (hence the want for diversity)

As I read the bible, I find it hard to read old testiment because it seems like God is going to punish, condemn, or something. I find it difficult to read and understand. When I read new testiment, it seems so easy to understand with lots of love than harsh punishment. I want to read the entire bible, but I find it too harsh to have this thinking about God is harsh and discipline which it is hard to picture that God is love. Can you explain better for me to understand. How can I read the bible and understand better?

It just seems that when Jesus, or God or Christianity is in the media, the feeling seems to be one of "dont force your views on me or the rest of the world" yet other religious groups are freely allowed or seemly freely allowed to express themselves without all of the attack whether it is local, national or international. For instance with Christmas. Why is the word Christmas an offense to some? It is simply the story of two parents who had a baby. It is a holiday promoting peace and goodwill toward others. What part is offensive? Are babies offensive? are parents offensive? Is peace and goodwill offensive? Help me understand!

I mean no disrespect, however, think about it. A burning bush that talks, a major body of water separates, a guy that feeds the masses with one fish and a lof of bread, he also walks on water and when he dies he comes back to life. Again, no disrespect, just something to think about.

What are the signs, accourding to the bible, of the end of the world?? What happens after that?? Some one told me there are seven awful years on earth to all of those you are left here and in that time they must find Christ... is this true, if not what is?? i am trying to figure out if i am being called to be a pastor. intellectually i am capable. i feel that i do a good job of fitting the call of 1 Timothy 3:1-7. i do not have sex, smoke, drink all because that is what i feel will appease God the most and what i feel Him calling me to do. i am a kind and caring person who has the heart to be a pastor but i would like to hear if there are any pastors or priests out there who could tell me how they knew they were supposed to be pastors/ priests. i was interested in being a priest as a young child and now i am a freshman in college and i'm trying to pick a major now and i'm having a difficult time. anyone who has words of encouragement or advice or wisdom to share with me about being a pastor please share. i will do whatever His will but right now i just need to understand or see what His will is.

Almost every question and answer I see on this site is poorly written, poorly spelled, and ungrammatical. The sad part about this is: the site has spell check! Does anyone know how to spell these days? Are kids just not learning anything in school anymore? Our school is a catholic one and they pray or say quotes from the bible every day. Will I be punished if I don't pray together or at least try to act like i'm doing so.
This is seeing that they do not allow anyone to wear anything related to religion other than their belief.
