Unless you are waiting up for Santa.. go ahead and open them on Christmas Eve night. My husband and I agree that us getting to sleep in while the kids play with their new toys (that they opened the night before on Christmas Eve) is a Christmas present to ourselves! Sleep is wonderous... getting up at 3am not so much.

xmas day, in my opinion it feels more in the holiday spirit to open up the presents on xmas day

Plain to see your God by removing Christ from Christmas. The Savior's birthday and the only thing on your mind is when to open your presents.

I say wait until about 4:00 am. That's how me and my family do it. Or maybe 5:00am. Don't wanna upset the parents.

dude, 3 am is early!! well, for waking up, i stay up that late all the time
wait till bout 5 or 6, maybe 7... sleep is good
