They are a thing from the past no longer needed and with almost every country in the world have gone the way of the Dodo
There is only one useful place for Kings and Queens, in a deck of cards.

I think when a single individual governs a nation without the publics consent will never work other than that kings and queens aren't really different from our presidents. It depends on the individuals who are governing and ruling. for example if princess Diana would have become a Queen she would have been one of the best. I think its cool to have royalty but not if they just sit around taxing you for their fancy feasts and parties and they don't help the people. I'd maybe like royalty more if I was one of them.

They are no longer necessary, they are just a tradition that is still being passed on today in the european countries. They used to be the rulers who made up and carried out the laws, but this is no longer true today. They may have some say in matters of the government, but it isn't all that much anymore.

God sometimes allows kings and queens to rule a nation. For example, if a nation is so corrupt that it needs a strong hand to bring order to the nation, God could allow the rule of a king and queen to be imposed upon the nation's people.

I don't think that y'all need them either. What's so great about having them? I'm a American and some of the Presidents that we have had have been some junk but they were in for a while and then we got a new one. I think there is some crap in that Royal Family anyway.

Personally and generally, I don't think we need them. But I think Prince William and Prince Harry would be good kings, and I am looking forward to the time one of them (or both) becomes one.

I think they are silly, like Hollywood. I loved Princess Di and like reading about what her boys are up to.
