assume the Bible WAS changed without looking into the facts?

You know burning some copies of the Koram when choosing the official book.

Or the thousands of ancient copies of the Bible from all over the world that are in harmony.

Reeves297: I'm just fighting the hypocrisy is all. I -rarely- get any factual scientific information from Muslims on this site, so I have to look elsewhere, but they think I don't look. Christians might assume the same thing.

I have seen Muslims -Koran, Quran, Qu'ran, and so, I use them interchangably.

You see translations of the Bible and believe them to be false for it, but I can find many translations of the Qu'ran as well, right? The Bible is mostly in Hebrew and Greek...

No. what's interior is (no longer entirely) comparable to the Bible, and contains many thoughts. Muslims believe that the Bible has replaced and as a result the tips in this is misinterpreted. A small mistake can replace various tips, and as a result the ideals of billions of human beings around the international. attempt this. Get 5 distinctive Bibles (distinctive writer, and so on) and 5 Korans (decide for ones with pronunciations). examine each and every word of each and every Bible and see if there are any modifications. Now attempt a similar with the Korans. Are the Bibles distinctive? Does it replace or misread any tips? additionally with Korans. attempt to think of constructive. Your question may well be deemed racist.

Muslims have the right to believe about the unchanged nature of the Quran the same way as the non-Muslim have their right to think what they think about it.
Why should it not be fair for Muslim to believe in something they know as a reliable fact.
The Quran is not an inspired writing but was revealed as the direct words of God by Angel Gabriel to Prophet Muhammad. It was recorded at the time of revelation over a period of 23 years and memorized and later put together in a book form preserving the words and all the contents with no change, additions and omissions.
It is the question of faith and Muslim believe what Allah says that I will be the protector of the Quran, I understands He means protection against changes and that the mainstream community of Muslim shall be holding on to the injunction of the Qura’n with the help of Allah even if there are splinter groups calling themselves progressive or whatever that may go astray. They can always come back with true repentance and Allah is the most forgiving and Merciful.
There were people at the time of the prophet who did not believe in Muhammad’s prophet-hood and the Quran and there are people today who do not believe it and there may be people in the future who may believe it. But there are more than a billion who believe it and, and as you might be hearing often that there are many others who read it now with open mind and accepting it as guidance from Allah. And there are many more that shun it and resist to find more about it objectively because of some mental blockage due to old political baggage or stories of some misadventure by a medieval Muslim king here and there which should not be linked to Islam. Then there are some who constantly throw abuses at Muslims and Islam and the Prophet such as those with Zionist streak and some misinformed evangelicals. You can still see some insulting remarks in some answers in the yahoo answer/questions. I will recommend to Muslim participants to respond politely and objectively to such remarks or ignore them. Also, I have recognized that some writers pretend to be Muslim and write abusive remarks to incite hatred against Muslims. Many non-Muslim also recognize such write ups.
There are historical records about the inclusion and exclusion process at the Council of Nice (http://www.amazon.com/History-First-Council-Nice-D/dp/1881316033 ) and the struggle between the Unitarians and Trinitarians and the formulation of Christianity about 300 years after the ascension of Prophet Jesus. Muslims believe in the prophethood of Jesus but not in his divinity. He is considered an honored man and a prophet like Muhammad Allah has always forbidden making partnership with Him through the message of all the prophets. . Is not the change from a man and prophet to divinity a big change?
Rhetorical abuses against Islam by its detractors aside, those who have accepted Islam now or in the past consider it as a logical faith. How can someone call Muslim ignorant because they honored Jesus as a prophet but not accept him as God. They believe in God as a sovereign with no partners as taught by Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. Christian majority was Unitarian until Emperor Constantine supported the Trinitarians and force the Pauline Christianity as a state religion to strengthen his power. This history is from Christian sources.
Allah knows best; Allah, the Lord of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad and all the exalted prophets.
Have a Merry Christmas… and think of the extra daylight you will have each day from now …instead of getting upset with the truth I wrote….. and it is not only a relative truth.

Unfortunately, you need to understand that most Muslims are [a] very ill-educated, [b] brought up in arrogance and wrong value sets, [c] thoroughly brainwashed by the 5 times a day prayers and their Imams' Hate Speech and [d] most of them really don't have a clue about Mohammad nor Islam.

Allow me to substantiate.

Look at the quality of their English. It shows a thorough lack of understanding of grammar and basic idiom.

You'll notice that they always crow about it being the "One True Religion". If this isn't arrogance, what is?

They will not accpet the fact that their sorry excuse for a "Prophet" was [a] illiterate [in fact, many try to create a new story of his having been given the miraculous wisdom], a murderer [despite all the proofs in the Koran, itself], a gigolo [despite the fact he married 4 rich, old women when he was young and poor] and a pedophile [having molested a 6 year old girl whom he started sleeping with when she was 9]. Now, if this isn't a wrong values set, what is?

Having said this, I guess it's unnecessary to state the obvious by going on to the next point.

Their ignorance of Islam stems from their inability to read, write and speak Arabic and their knowing only what is taught to them by their Imams.

I've seen a lot of Muslims display their ignorance about the Al-Hajarul Aswad., aka the Ka'aba Stone; the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and many other such things. It's evident that they don't have a clue about their own Religion and in their ignorant arrogance, just go around criticizing everyone else.

I'll bet that most of them don't even know how many changes have been incorporated in the Koran, nor will they know that the Ka'aba has been destroyed and rebuilt, nor will they know that only the Wahabi version of the Koran is permitted in the Wahabi Saudi Arabia and that possession of a non-Wahabi version leads to flogging and burning of that non-Wahabi Koran instantanously.

Merry Christmas!!!!!

Edit:

You can see what I mean above.

There's just one educated Muslim who tries to justify the fact there were additions and subtractions to the Koran, while the others display what I've said above.

no its not fair, that's why I'm not a Muslim any more, but that doesn't mean I'm a christian either, since the bible is far from being " in harmony " with its self. so there.

by the way how many questions about the Koran have you asked this past hour?

When you reject the word of God to follow the words of a dead man I really don't think the truth is going to make much difference to them it hasn't so far. The Qu'ran teachs that the bible and Torah are true and they prove the Qu'ran wrong therefore they have to say something or admit they believe a lie.

Muhammed HAD to claim corruption of the holy books of both Judaism and Christianity. Otherwise his invented koran would NOT withstand scrutiny. When there's an obvious conflict, he could just say "well the OTHER books are wrong and THIS one is right". Interesting tactic if you can pull it off.

There is not an original Aramaic version, and as for burning of those other copies they were not authentic, and as for adding of the diacritical marks, this was to prevent people who didn't speak Arabic from pronouncing it wrong, as to change its meaning, but rather to preserve the original revelation.

But it is futile to debate it, I know you won't believe, so you have your deeds and I have my deeds, I won't judge you, God will judge us all.
