Well that's a generalization but I think it's just a style type of thing. Think about it like this. Most of the rappers are black and they show off their gold on their teeth and jewelry so their followers are copy cats. Then you have the rock singers w/the messy hair and rocking out and they have their copy cats. Then the country singers are into their cowboy hats and pick up trucks and fatigue style clothing and once again they have THEIR copy cats. It's just a particular style. Now as for saying they have no interest in learning, you're just being hateful. You have your type of style as well. Just because someone's taste is different from yours, that doesn't mean they're not interested in learning. I hate racism and I wish people like you would fall of the face of the earth and get lost.

Coming from a white woman I will tell you that ....that was a generalization that no black man or woman gets a education works hard for what they want and deserves to show it off. That is a bunch of bull if I ever heard it. I dont imagine that all black people walk around dirty but yet drive a nice car and has chains hangin on their necks with kids with Koolaid stains all over their shits, but I sure do see alot of white people that does that where I live. I also know some very educated black people who have money but yet nothing that shows that they are "show offs" they know where they came from and where they had been and remember the hard times and all the time that it took them to get where they are and are very deserving of everything they do have. Really if you had enough money to aquire things only for show off purposes you probably would, it just gets boring after awhile, and the newness dies off.

I think you're over-generalizing here. Their culture (I'm not black) may include a manner of dress and style that is different from mine, and that's really okay with me. I wouldn't want everyone to be like me, because that would be really boring.
And hey, I live in Tucson, AZ.
You should go to the car shows here...
And by the way, I did some work for a friend of mine in Seattle which paid my way to Tucson. She's a black lady with a master's degree in psychology and has a website for head-injured people.
She testified before Congress in the Dalkon Shield settlement case that netted millions.

That's just a stereotype. Don't define thousands of us by the music videos that you see on tv, or the few like that that you'd see walking around. Most of us aren't like that. Actually, most of us don't like that. But then, some of us do. But hey, what young person wouldn't want a new car? I mean, in music videos, black people want Mercedes Benz's and stuff. Where I live, all the white kids want BMW's. So really, don't buy into the media. Shouldn't you know better than that by now?

Don't make generalizations based on what you see in rap videos. I'm black and I don't acquire things just to show them off. But you can't just say black people do that, people of all races do that.

i assume ,very comparable to all the races. we can't make a generalization and say that that's some thing that throughout the time of basic terms black people do. that's in basic terms the comparable as asking how come all Mexican people have a million childrens and shop their different halves at homestead barefoot and pregnant? i'm Mexican and my relatives is SO in comparison to that. besides, back to the element...I agree that it is the case with some black people and all i can think of of is that consistent with danger they watch too plenty MTV??? heavily...talking approximately bling-bling, Louie Vuitton, Sean Jean, infant Phat. they do no longer % people to stereotype yet do no longer supply us any reason to the two by ability of behaving badly in public or showing up interior the welfare place of work (I artwork for the HRR Dept. there) with a Benz, pretend nails, gold jewelry and a weave all up on your head. yet that's in basic terms MY opinion.

you are buying into a stereotype. some black are like that and some white are the same. every ethnic group has people that are only interested in the flash. with whites its called keeping up with the Joneses. most blacks are like everyone else. interested in learning and busy being people. don't judge the group by what you se in hip hop videos

Making sweeping generalizations only serves to destroy any crediblity in your proposition. It also demonstrates a lack of life experience and indicates a degree of immaturity. Try getting out more.
