I mean, like when I read some books and their translated texts, in Chinese or Japanese, for example, the title of the original version of the book is "sad story", but when they are translated into Spanish, English, French or German, they will name the title as " story of miserable life", " life without hopes" something like that. I wonder, why don't the translators just call it sad story? It seems to me that Asian writing style tends to use less words while Western one tries to use more words to make the concept abstract. I am just curious and wanna know more about this. Thankyou!

I'm 28 y/o and very closeted. I still live at home w/mom & sisters ...although I'm very soon to moving out. I acknowledge that I'm gay because I have a strong attraction to guys. However, I don't really meet any guys naturally the way that I would like or no other guys really express an interest to me that they like me in the "real world." I think I'm handsome enough too .

I don't really like meeting folks from the Internet because I always feel like its a sexual obligation type of thing. I also not into the club scene or any "out and proud" sort of events because I feel like it is a meat market. I'm really mellow, very positive, down to earth, aspiring sort of guy and I like outdoorsy things and travel.
The guys that I like, I often find out that they have a girlfriend or married afterwards. I just feel like I don't want to be gay sometime because I feel like I'm going to be alone and bored for the rest of my life. Is this feeling normal? Any suggestions to deal with this?

So much for Christmas.......oh, and there are several more verses where that came from that tells us to keep the Lords HOLY days,
for all you "christians" that do the christmas thing. The bible does not support christmas. There is NO santa clause.

How much money do you think is too much to spend on friends. This is the first year I can really go all out spend as much as I want on them. On average I am spending about $150 on each friend...and there is 4 of them. I am not doing it to flash my cash or anything like that...I just want to make this christmas really special for my REALLY close friends.

and instead of just being friends you felt like the ambassodor of your race

for exampleif you did someting stupid or acted a little disrespectful that person would say,,"that's just the way white people are raised to be," and all of a sudden you feel like the reason for his ignorance like you created a racist person

do you think it's fair to put anybody in that position of having to prove his race to someone,,,,this sounds wierd but I had this experience with a few hispanic people and it made for a more stressful freindship,,,more non casual

I was at the graveyard putting flowers on my dads grave and a woman was stealing flowers. My mother put a small christmas tree on it and she got it. What should I do I called the police and they told me we have to catch her doing it. I know where she put the tree its on her sons grave.
