Most of my dreams are either me running away or being chased by something or someone. What does this mean?

Thank you!

To dream that you are running away from someone, indicates an issue that you are trying to avoid. You are not taking or accepting responsibility for your actions. In particular, if you are running from an attacker or any danger, then it suggests that you are not facing and confronting your fears.

To dream that you are trying to run but cannot make your feet move as fast as you want them to, signifies lack of self-esteem and self-confidence. It may also reflect your actual state of REM paralysis while in the dream state.

To dream that you are running alone, signifies that you will advance to a higher position and surpass your friends in the race for wealth. Alternatively, you may be running from some situation or from temptation.

To dream that you are running with others, signifies festive and prosperous times.

Running away = avoidance or escape

e.g., if you are running away from something or someone "diseased", then you are sick and you are trying to fight or "escape" from it. If it is MORALLY diseased or "sick", you could be fighting off a mental illness, like depression or stress.

It is very important to note WHAT is chasing you, and the major characteristics of it.

In illness, if an individual chases you in your dream, it is a singular cause, like a germ caused illness or malfunction.

If you dream an army is chasing you, that would suggest a virus, or an autoimmune disorder. (Viruses reproduce inside you sending "armies" of new virus bots to invade and harm more of your cells. Autoimmune disorders do the same thing but it is your own immune system reproducing it's own macrophages and harming your body's cells.)

A second example, if you are running from a teacher, you are avoiding an important lesson in daily life. If you are trying to escape an entire assembly of teachers, you are running away from your responsibilities.

The rest is up to you. Examine the chaser for what they represent to you, then try to figure out what it would mean to you if it caught you!

The faster and more furious the chase, and the more you strain in trying to get away the more serious it is.

Good Luck!

Running in dreams usually means you are trying to escape from some emotion, some fear, or hastening to something.
Anything moving toward you in a dream usually signifies that you are becoming more aware of it, feeling it more intensely. So being chased in a dream usually denotes that you are feeling something you fear more intensely and are trying to avoid confronting it.

Sometimes dreams are rather literal, and simple. Is there anything you are running from in real life? Is there something you are afraid of or are avoiding? Keep a dream journal, and notice of there is a pattern to your dreams

If you are running away, you are most defineteley also being chased by something, LOL. But on a serious note- I think this shows fear of something, or stress. Mostle likely stress though, you need to relax and not fret.

It could show: fear, stress, avoiding something, over working and just trying to get away from it all, more time to think(for an important decision or something like that). That's about all i can think of for your dream.

To put it simply all dreams, are just are minds dealing with circumstances.Just juggling the pros and cons of thoughts we are dealing with.To be running away from something is just to be discarding a certain way/thought that you have been struggling with, you have subconciously made your mind up.It's your minds way of putting something aside and getting on with things.
