well the truth is no. but here is where the story came from There once was a guy named Nicholas and every year during Christmas time he would go to orphanages and put candy and little presents inside children's shoes. Therefore- stockings. Then people started calling him St. Nick and would do the same. Finally he started doing that all over the village and word spread until he became known as Santa Claus.

Yes. A long, long time ago...I'm not sure of the date (somewhere between 1400 AD and 1600 AD) but in Europe there was a saint who gave children toys. His name was Nicklaus. Word got out that there was a man who loved children very much and was known to give them toys. There is more to the this story, I just can't remember it all. As time went on that is how we came to know Santa Claus, hence the name St. Nick.

Yes, Saint Nicholas is real. He is a Catholic Saint.

The jury is still out on Santa Claus. Young kids agree he is real. Parents paying the bills hope he is.

Yes I am real I am as real as it gets and Mrs Santa can tell you that too. I work very hard every year to make Christmas as special as I can. Do me a favor. Go ask your Mom or your Dad. Give them a great Big hug.
To all you people who say I don't exist. Well I do. You should work harder at being decent human beings who leave those questions answered BY SANTA and Mrs Santa.

A friendly man named St. Nick lived a long time ago, but he was no Santa. Today's businesses took the story and made alot of money from it, even going as far as saying it's Jesus birthday and it's not.

Many years ago there was a man who would bring presents to children on the holiest night of the year, he did so for many years, stories about his wonderful mission spread across the world and many people joined and helped him to spread good love and good cheer around the world. Now he is a beautiful memory that we still Cherish to this day and we honor him by celebrating his love and joy with others

Now really, that's a silly question. He has to be real. Can you imagine anybody else riding around in a sleigh, on a cold blistery winter night, dressed in a red outfit, with a white beard, and belly like a bowl full of jelly? .....Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
