Okay everyday people seem to get more rude...what are some rude things that you have to deal with daily (or very often) that you wish people would be aware of? I hate it when I hold a for someone and do not say thank you or when you send someone a gift and do not get a thank you note for sending it.....what about you guys?

It's part of my job to provide great customer service, but I hate when I make a drink for someone and then they don't like it. I'm happy to remake it or make it for them again, but when they don't give a simple 'thank you' for the remake, it really ticks me off. I deal with it by venting to my coworkers and making sure it doesn't affect how I treat the next customer.

What's worse is when people come through drive through and stay on the phone the entire time. I hand out the drinks and take their money and thank them. No eye contact from them, no reply, no tip, and I'm left there feeling like an idiot for being nice. I never mind cell phone drive through people when they put their convo on hold or at least apologize and drop a coin into the tip jar.

The other thing that gets to me is people with no sense of etiquette whatsoever. I'm not Mrs. Manners, but goodness... one 'friend' of ours came to our wedding reception. He got drunk on the open bar paid for by my in-laws (we were married out of state and had a second reception here so that people who couldn't travel could still celebrate with us), drove home drunk, and did not say goodbye, bring a gift, or even think about apologizing afterwards.

Another guest called my husband's coworker a retard very loudly. The coworker is slow but very capable of driving and performing his job duties. It was very rude and my husband had to pull the guest (his SISTER of all people) aside and tell her to knock it off or leave.

Other people came and brought nothing--I understand if they couldn't afford it, but they could have at least made a card thanking us for the invitation.

It also bothers me when there are obviously pregnant women on a train or in a busy place with seating, and others (particularly fit people or men) will not get up to offer her a seat when there are no other seats. On the other hand, I am a petite woman and every time I fly, other passengers ALWAYS assist me with even the lightest luggage in the overhead compartment. I wonder why airplane passengers are so friendly but the courtesy is not extended in other situations?

Hey, thanks for letting me vent!

oh goodness..

1. Arrogant people

2. When I'm watching a movie, well into it, and then someone comes up behind and watches a good part and asks.."What happened??" well dangit, you can't just ask that in the middle or end of a movie!

3. It is very rude to be close-minded and pretend you are actually very noble and understanding

Some rude things I've noticed.
Yes, kids running free and wild in hospitals
AND, the rude people who work in hospitals.
Sullen checkers at stores
People combing and fooling with their hair in restaurants.
Salesgirls who ask you a question, then turn their heads when you answer. Then ask you again. When they do that to me I just look at them and say, "I already answered that question". They don't know what to say then.
And one of the worst - a salesperson talking on the phone when they're doing your transaction. And let's not forget the rude person talking loudly on their cell phones when they're near you.

I work in the emergency room and I have to deal with rude people everyday...the thing that gets on my nerves the most is when people bring their children to visit patients and then the kids act crazy in the waiting room. It's extremely annoying to the other patients and everyone that works here.

It's incredibly rude when people try to push their way onto an elevator before the people exiting can get out. This is a huge pet peeve of mine.

Everyday I deal with rude telemarketers invading my day with their buIIshit.

One big pet peeve but it's not daily is giving graduation or wedding gifts and never getting a thank you. Makes me wonder if they even received it!

People cutting in front of you in a line. ARGGGGG

Children in variety stores that are left unattended by their parents and get into things.

People who interrupt you when you are talking and don't let you finish expressing your thoughts.
