I remember growing up and we knew everyone in the neighborhood...the kids played outside every day...and people sat on the porch...and everyone knew their neighbor...a sense of community.
Now no one seems to know their neighbors...and our community lies within who we talk electronically to (phones, text messaging, online chatting, kids on game stations instead of being outside), but when you go to 3rd world countries where people don't have these...they still have a community feeling and neighborhood....
Has technological societies killed the community and neighborhoods or has it broaden then to people on the other side of the world?
