No, Jesus is the English form of the Arameic name Yeshua which means something like Yahwehs Strength.

Now I'm going to be dragged to the town square and stoned to death for spelling the name of the Hebrew/Christian/Muslim god.

Or at least be given a strong talking to by Mother Superior.

Iesus is a pagan name (Isis-Zeus), you should read up on the IHS i believe on churches and how it corresponds with 609 i believe and has much to do with paganism of the sun worship. Anyways, in Hebrew there is no letter "j", and his name was Y'Shua, that is what it is, the real one.

And Christ is the greek word for Messiah which in latin means Anointing. And no it isn't his last name, there were many people who were anionted in scriptures. Basically his mind was anointed, this referred to enlightenment and elevation of mind in wholeness. To be Awakened.

It doesn't mean that at all. His name "Yeshua" (a form of Joshua), is Hebrew.
Christ was not His last name.
He has many names. The angel told Mary to call Him "Immanuel" which means "God with Us".
