I hope not. and if you are, I would hope you would flee from these teachings.

Love others as we love ourselves. Just because it goes against our beliefs, doesnt mean we have the right to condemn, or bash, or be intollerable. We are not dictators. Put down your picket signs, and go home to be with your family and read the bible.
I am anti abortion, but I am not going to make politicians make it illegal, same as gay marriage, and I just wont bring my child to see harry potter (if I don't agree with it)

Are you actually a Christian who says that all of those things (denying rights, protesting gays, condemning people in general) are totally unnecessary? That's the best thing I've read all day.

I believe that it might be the church. Church's teach us that we should be republicans and that we should care about the nature since it's doomed anyway. I am a Christian and I was a disillusioned Christian. Now I believe we need to try to take care of our planet as best as we can. Now I am a green.

Being intollerable isn't in the bible.
Protesting: gays, abortions, movies, music...wow!!! That is a lot. We should love the gays, but hate the sin. Jesus hung out with sinners and not the pharisees; therefore, he would have hung out with the gays of our times.

Abortions are called murder. If you do research, you will see that when they kill the baby, it does have a heartbeat. The heartbeat tells that something is alive.

Movies and music is more like a doctrine of the church and not the bible. We can watch and listen to them, as long as it's not from the devil himself, and believe me there are some out there that are from the devil.

Judging and condemning is not from the bible. In fact, in the bible it says that (I'm paraphrasing) Jesus didn't come down to condemn the world but to save it. We should try to be like Jesus, so we shouldn't judge or condemn. I know there are Christians out there that do, and it's just not right. Somewhere else in the bible it says, be careful not to judge...

Hopefully this answers your question.

I do not force my beliefs on to anyone. I am Christian, and I was taught to tolerate and accept, not force and judge.

By the by, my beliefs are:

Yes to constitutional rights.
Yes to gay marriage.
Yes to abortion.

Most of the issues that are nation is faced with today stems from radical right wing beliefs that anyone outside the norm is bad and needs to be "cured". The people that I can't stand the most are the radicals that will bomb abortion clinics and shoot doctors that perform these abortions. And they do it all in the name of "saving the life of an unborn fetus." How is KILLING a doctor better than aborting a fetus? That is murder, also.

Everyone on here can take these words with a grain of salt. You have your opinion, I have mine. Have a good day!

I must take exception to your question. Christians are only trying to force some of their beliefs, not all of them as you say. After all, when is the last time you saw a ranting, sign carrying crowd of christians standing around a ghetto, or group of homeless people protesting poverty? How often have you seen the fundamentalist christian eveangelists saying 'don't vote for that party because they aren't on board with the war on poverty"?

Oh, wait a minute!! I owe you an apology. You said THEIR beliefs, not CHRIST's beliefs. I'm sorry and your question is a very good one.

No, I think for myself. I don't judge or condem cause I really don't care about people's problems enough to do that, cause i care more about THEM. I don't protest music or movies, I watch tons of movies and I listen to secular and christian music. I do protest homosexuality and abortion. Homosexuality because I think it's wrong, and abortion because its murder (if a pregnet woman is killed, its a double murder, so how is abortion any different.) Being introllable? We're actually quite fun.. espically us Penecostals. Denying Constitutional rights? I'm all for the constitution. So, now I have a question for you: is the culture we live in teaching you that Christians are the enemy?

...You mean to tell me that you never make any kind of a judgment? You know you do, unless you choose to stand for nothing, and therefore, fall for anything.
...How do you reconcile your anti-judging beliefs with the passage from John 7 that says:
...23 "If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath so that the Law of Moses will not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made an entire man well on the Sabbath?
...24 "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
...There are many other passages you are ignoring, where we are told to stand for the truth, preach the word, in season and out of season.
...I wonder if there is some wrong or sinful behavior in your life that you are trying to justify? There is something behind your question that you are not telling.
...Are you being taught to accept any behavior at all? Are you telling us embrace/celebrate any kind of behaviour, without questioning it?
...What is your sourcebook of truth? How do you know what is right and wrong?

We did not have any of these problems until you wimpy, whiney liberals got involved. Why don't you stick you head back in the sand where it came from. You think that socialism is so great, go to France, get out on MY country and leave us alone. When God tells you IN His Word, that certain types of behavior are not going to be allowed in heaven and that those who practice said behavior are going to be destroyed, THEN HOW IS THAT JUDGING? Ye shall know them by their fruits. This is a judgment?

I didn't know the Bible made it a point to teach intolerance...either way, it was written by a bunch of men, who knows if they got it right. I heard the disciple who wrote the passages about homosexuality being evil was simply homophobic. Why do people listen to them instead of trusting their own God given instincts again? Oh that's right, because some old man said it was necessary to be closer to God.

I believe in God but I don't believe in forcing everyone, I'm not a Conservative. I believe other people should have the right to an abortion, the right to be gay. I don't force my views bec not every one can see what I see
