I tried to read it when I was 16, but I got bogged down somewhere, don't remember where.
As for the creationists, ha, I heard somewhere that rudimentary hind limbs appear briefly in the embryos of whales and dolphins -- that's more than creationists have heard or care to hear.

I have not, but I have been taught by Darwinian profs. I have personally studied quotes by Darwin & other books about evolution.
Origin of the Species is very interesting & I am not at all threatened by them. I beleive that Science & the Bible don't contradict (iow-I have yet to see a scientific law or fact that contradicts what the Bible teaches).

I dont know about all creationists, but its very clear that the ones on YA! R&S know absolutely nothing about evolution.
--edit--
and to the idiot a few answers above, a huge majority of evolutionists have read the bible, damn near every one I've ever met

I don't know why the focus is always on Darwin. Evolution didn't start with him. Lemarck was writing about theories on evolution before Darwin was born.

I read Origin of Species and studied the Bible to a great extent and I still believe in evolution.

What is the problem with Atheism?
Atheism is more than just a problem for faith. It fails to qualify as science. A good science pursues naturalistic explanations of natural phenomena. The tradition of biology begun with Charles Darwin in 1859 and running down to the present time is good science. Darwinism provides the most adequate natural explanations for the evolution of one species out of a previous species. As good science, it avoids saying anything about God’s action in the world. Because science tells us how creatures act with regard to one another, we do not expect science to say anything directly about the creator. For a scientist to conclude that there is no God - which is the conclusion of the atheist - is simply unwarranted by the science. Atheism fails to be scientific, because science deals with the world of creatures, not the realm of the creator.

How many evolutionists fully understand evolution and have read Darwins books.
It seems like a lot of evolutionists don't understand it well, yet they follow it faithfully and religiously...whenever you ask a question they reply with an insult because they do not have an answer in a view they put so much faith in..
So the real question should be...:
How many of the evolutionists who constantly slam other views have actually read Darwins' books?

-- It is an absolute lie that Dawin converted to Christianity and gave up his theory. That is a bad myth. People should stop saying it as it makes them look ignorant when in a group of educated people. Dawin always stood by his theory. :-)
