A nice gift with return is a simple digital camera with extra memory chips.Most are affordable at less than $200. And you can see who she's hanging with as a parent without feeling like a snoop!

Well movies are always good. Alot of girls now like Jo Jo the singer, and she has a movie called Aquamarine that is really cute. Kind of a girly movie. Also there is a book out called Fairies that has alot of jewels in it and on it and when you open it it has removable items. It is like an adventure. Or you could get her a case of beads and things to make her own jewelry. There is also a Christmas Barbie out. The list is endless once you get started!

A Diary.... A cute little purse..... Bead kits to make necklaces.... (most 12 year old girls are into Bratz dolls, but the above gifts are a bit more personal.)

If she is a relative find out whether she made a list for Santa, then just pick one item. If not, books are always great. I would suggest you either call your local library for suggestions or see what is new at Barnes & Noble or Borders for her age group.
