There's nothing wrong with thinking America is a nice country but the problem is they always say they are 'the best' even though they may have never left America's shores.
Also, the fact that any criticism is construed as jealousy. I'll bet you a million dollars, someone will respond to this question by saying we are jealous.

Being an English girl i think American's who are patriotic gives the country a nice touch,there are alot of people over here very much the same,but us lot from this teenyweeny island tend to keep it to ourselves.

When they wave their flag in everyone else's face it becomes offensive and not patriotic. Give respect that others are patriotic for their own country.
