Is it just me...or do half the people on here posting questions have spelling problems? If they dont have spelling problems, they cant seem to put together a sentence that makes sense. Most of them seem to be over the age of 19 or 20....this scares me. What do the rest of you think....

Adults in the OT that converted professed faith in God, repented, and were circumcised. Same concept across the board today.

Babies were also circumcised as being God's "property". Did that just go away entirely?

A friend of mine moved to a small town where the church is "the" only social/community meeting place. When he moved up there originally, the neighbors put pressure on him and his family to join the local church. They just assumed he would join.

So not wanting to be outsiders in a small town, he played along. Proclaiming himself an atheist would have meant him and his family being ostracized. Pretty rough in a small town.

Funny thing is that, now that he's a member, he's found out that half the congregation are atheists like him and are also just members because of the pressure to conform and socialize.

Anybody else have a similar experience?

dont be such a stingy sod, help the needy, give a tramp a quid or two. dont have such a self- indulgent time and do something that will really be worthy of celebrating christmas such as a 10 quid donation to the help the children fund rather than another boxing day hangover.

How did you decide to be a vegitarian? Did a famous person cause your choice or was it because you saw the suffering of an animal or was it because you loved a pet? Should I be a vegitarian because my girlfriend expects it of me because I am lesbian and who is a good vegitarian roll model for me?

My friend who grew up in Germany was telling me about a German Christmas Folklore. She told me, in germany, when kids were good, Saint Nick would visit them and give them gifts (like they do here), but they were bad a ghostly creature, all dressed in black, with no face would carry whips and chains, and would drag them off in the night. Is this true, and what is the creatures name, and where can I find information on him? (she told me once but I forgot)

Surah 2, Verse 62:
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

So does that mean that in accordance with the Quran, you believe that Christians andd Jews are going to Heaven?

this is a true story

ok so i was walkin home with my bf and 2 of my friends and 2 of my bf's friends, so one of my friends made it home first then my other friend made it home, so it was me,my bf,and his 2 friends,my bf go home so it was just me and my bf's friends walkin home we were walkin past a few buildings and they dragged me into an ally and beat me then raped me. later i found out i was pregnant, so my bf beat his friends (they r in jail now) and i gave my baby 2 another family so they could give her a better life i was just wondering how offten does this happen

All of us have faults and shortcomings and christians are no exception. I curse and have a foul mouth and I can get very testy angry and mean to God with the things I say. I get very frustarted and I sound off with bad words. I have tried everything prayer, swear jars, fasting when needed and I cannot seem to kick this nasty skanky habit of cursing. God has been good to me and yes I know I am human and have faults but I know blessings and cursings cannot come from the same tongue what is your advice because I am a deacons wife and I need to be an example and would not want to bring anyone down. I have been struggling with this awful sin for many many years. I have gotten a tiny bit better but still have aways to go. I also want to stop cursing because it offrends and hurts my husband and I want to be a godly wife not a foul mouthed wife. Thank you and God bless you.
