Surah 2, Verse 62:
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
So does that mean that in accordance with the Quran, you believe that Christians andd Jews are going to Heaven?

So you are saying that only sects of christianity that doesn't consider Jesus as divine will go to heaven?

I am a Muslim and this question is kiddof funny because My Imam ( the muslim "priest") was telling us abiut this today. He said that just because you have differnet belifs than a muslim does not mean your going to Hell. He said that anyone who is does good deeds may have a chance of going to heaven, visversa fir any one who does bad deeds. so a muslim, jew or christian controls there own destany if you want to say it like that. Allah also tells Muslims that if a non muslim sees "the truth" and rejects it openly than he may not go to heaven. So like i siad you control your own destany, in Islam, but rejecting it or giving partners to Allah or god may not enter Jannah. hope this helps answer this question. Yes, because they were warned of god and his wrath and if they live a good life not harming their christian or jewish counter parts or any other member of any other faith they are entitled to heaven.
For christians
Its much harder because God repeatedly has said throughout the stcriptures that anyone who associates partners or family with god will not receive heaven. Because the bible eventually became distorted (the first christians after christs death never believed that Jesus was the son of God or was One with God. And christians began to adopt a few pagan traditiions and beliefs (christmas actually celebrates the Winter Solstice as the Ancient Romans did and hanging ornaments from a tree was something they did as a tradition celebrating the solstice). Shirk (associating partners and family with god is strictly prohibited in Islam and nobody can entire paradise without the belief that their is ONE true god.
So before considering that christians can enter the garden according to the Islamic Faith the above must be considered. Good question though.

We Muslims believe in Moses and Jesus and the Christian and the Jewish Religions
But about going to heaven or not, only God decides that...We don't even know if we're going to heaven
This doesn't mean that we don't believe in heaven, NO, but we think that no matter what we do, we won't be able to please God the Almighty, so we always try our best, and hope to be rewarded at the end

That particular verse refers to the true followers of the Gospel and the Torah. For example, lets go back to the day the Gospel was revealed to Isa (Jesus) peace be upon him. The people who followed the Gospel while it was pure are the ones who are promised paradise. But after the authority of protecting the Gospel was removed from Isa(Jesus), it was slandered and the true meaning of it was lost. I know the Christians and Jews do not achknowledge this. Just as the jews rejected Isa(Jesus) out of arrogance, the people of the scripture(Jews & christians) reject Muhammad (peace be upon him) as well. And God knows Best.

in islam, it is believed that if you believe in one God and only ONE God, eventually you will enter heaven eventually. first the person will have to pay for their sins if God does not forgive them, but it will only be for a certain period of time. then you will be able to enter paradise and join the successful.
