The United States is pretty good at providing safe houses and shelters that are mostly used by women and children, therefore there are not many out there being beggars. I am sad to say that if you go outside the US you will see a lot female beggars.

They are out there , we just don't see them as often . In Orlando we get all kinds of people because of the weather .
