Wow so let me get this straight, a weak and powerless god and also NOT an allknowing god? Is this what you believe in?

sometimes, I take for granted I have a day job, and get to come home in time for my kids,,,,,,,,and spend all night with them, and do what ever, make cookies, decorate the tree, sing carols, today we watched How The Grinch Stole Christmas,and THEN,,,,,,, IT'S ON CBS,,,,,,,,,, my kids looked at me, I looked at them and we just laughed because we payed for two late fees, because the night before we tried to watch it and we fell asleep,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and we could have watched it for free

long before the invention of indoor plumbing when sewage ran through diches of towns and cities, when we could still publicly execute those nasty homosexual abominations, and anybody else we didn't like, and everybody who was allowed to live got along, under God's glory, or were accused of witchcraft and tortured and burned--such beautiful times! Back in the days when a woman could be executed for resisting a rapist, but if she behaved herself and submitted to the attack, she only had to marry the man who had defiled her--I wish we could go back to living by the bible's rules and wash our clothes on the rocks by the riverbed--back before anybody had "rights" to worry about, back when it was accepted that certain people were not good enough to be considered people--isn't this what all christians want? To get back to the basics? To live by the bible?

He's taxing. He takes the fun out of flying. He goes off on tangents when I ask a simple question, like "Is it better to land into the wind or with the wind at your back?" Well, duh, I know the answer, but I wanted to hear him agree with the obviously right answer. Instead he went off on a tangent about some show he saw on TV where someone somewhere at somepoint defied gravity on a treadmill. I mean what gives? Bottom line, what do I do next? Blow him off or stick with it, knowing he knows more than I. I'd appreciate anyone who's ever flown to chime in.

The girl from my previous questions. Y'know, the exquisite one, I'm feeling a little more like she likes me, but I'm still not sure. And, me being the little punk I am, I'm afraid to ask her. (I've never even had a girlfriend because I'm always afraid to make moves. Even when girls have really flirted with me, I found a reason to second guess the descision.) I just can't read if her shyness is because she thinks I'm cute or she thinks I'm weird. I tried making small talk, it was fumbly. I don't want to 'just come out and ask' because I don't want to scare her away. If she doesn't like me, I at least would like to be her friend; she's a nice girl.

My question is, how can I read her. I need to know 'cause I'm getting a little frustrated. Seeing her everyday and not knowing. I'm sure someone out there has been in my same predicament. How did you do it? Help...please.

I am a creative recreationalist...and by this I mean I like to find new and creative ways to enjoy my spare time and have fun. Lately this means scaring small children, or handing out monopoly money to the homeless on the street corners. Can anyone help me out with some new ideas?!

I was on here, and someone else asked a question pertaining to religion, and I was surprised by all the negative answers that people gave when it came to God, and religion. So I was wondering. What are your views. Do you believe? or is God, and religion some reason that man has created to satiate his needs to know why mankind exists? All answers are welcome. I am not preaching here. If they are not slagging off their accent, then they are insulting their food. I never see abuse about blacks, asians, whites etc. I find it really strange as one of the founders of Yahoo is of Chinese orgin (Jerry Yang), so if someone is racist, why are they using Yahoo?

the pendulum has swung away. will it swing back?

the formal clothing, the (not always sincere) use of manners and titles, and respect as portrayed in earlier times, are they gone for good? or will society eventually tire of 'casual' and 'individual' and return to that era of conformity and uniformity? good or bad?

don't think it will happen? dress-down fridays have come and gone... uniforms are returning to some public schools... you never know.

I'm an atheist and a strong believer in equal human rights for everybody.

But for this question I wanted to assume a God exists and that every word in the Bible is true. Which would mean that homosexuality is an abomination to God. Which also means the little part of Christianity that fights firmly against homosexuals would be right.

So, assumption: God exists, is right, and homosexuality is a sin.

Does this situation tolerate the anti-gay movement? Following this assumption would God feel proud about people marching on the streets with signs saying "God hates fags" ? Or would God prefer the more open and friendly way of disagreeing with homosexuality that many other Christians do? Which of these two examples stays closer to the Bible and God?

I am looking for the description of God, because I am confused, if we are made in His image, then where did he come up with the private parts of the sexes? Does He have both gender features of the sexes?
