If they are not slagging off their accent, then they are insulting their food. I never see abuse about blacks, asians, whites etc. I find it really strange as one of the founders of Yahoo is of Chinese orgin (Jerry Yang), so if someone is racist, why are they using Yahoo?

becuase it is quite acceptable to be nasty about chinese in a way that you can't be about blacks.

They use it because they're stupid, they have pathetic lives and the best thing they have to do with their time is have a go at other people and the easiest way (requiring the least brains) to do that is to insult people because of their race. However, I think there are quite a few other examples of racism that are not directed at Chinese people.

in regards to racism directed towards chinese people, i don't agree with you entirely. i mean sure there are the odd stupid rants, but from what i've experienced on this site, most of the nasty abuse i encounter on here is aimed towards blacks, asians- as in muslims, hindus etc, as well as gays and lesbians, as opposed to the chinese. which is unfortunate to say the least. but the thing is, it doesn't matter what colour or race you are- racism is racism whichever you look at it. it is wrong to imply that this thing only happens to just one particular ethnic group- eg, in this instance chinese- because it is a load of crap. it happens to everyone else too.

Asian adult men are abusive to women folk and allowed to overcome their women folk. My sister married an abusive Asian guy who expects her to do each little thing he says. My sister has an incredibly complicated existence along with her Asian husband. i wouldn't in any respect pass close to an Asian guy for as long as I stay.

I've answered alot of questions and have never noticed anyone say anything bad about the Chinese, I have alot of respect for them myself.

I can honestly say that in hundreds of hours of looking at this ( UK) yahoo answers, I have never ever, seen one derogatory word about Chinese people.
