As a girl being raised in church i was told it was and that it was in the bible. I have never found it there. If it please tell me where to find it. Besides the religious point do you personally feel it is a sin/bad?

Christians make a big deal about original sin. They make it seem like it was what set evil in motion and that if Adam and Eve had listened to God then the world would be a perfect place. It's BS though. If Adam and Eve hadn't sinned at that particular moment, they would have just done it later. If not them, then their offspring would have done it. It's really a dumb story and it's hard to believe people actually believe it word for word.

Has anyone seen this on CSpann?? This Black professor from a university goes on to talk about his big plans... most interesting part (and I can't believe their isn't a bigger deal about it) is when he goes on to say "We need to exterminate the White people".... are you kidding me??? If it were to be reversed - their would be riots in the street.

I like him very much, and the next morning when I went to school, he started having a crush on me like I have a crush on him. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME AND TELL ME WHAT IT MEANS?!

Arabs are not a singular people. Origins are complex and intermingled with many peoples and lines. According to tradition, true Arabs are descendants of Abraham and his son Ishmael and prior to the 20th century, "Arab" designated the Bedouin, tribal-based society of the Arabian desert, which is the birthplace of Arabic. Other Arabs are ethnic groups that have been extant in their lands of origin for millennia. Modern Arab nationalism is a product of 19th- and 20th-century developments and has no prior historical basis. Before the rise of nationalism, most Arabic-speakers identified themselves as members of a particular family or tribe; as residents of a village, town, or region; as Muslims, Christians, or Jews; or as subjects of large political entities such as the Ottoman empire.

I go to a Missionary Baptist church a few times a month and listen to biblical discussion in a sunday school class with middle aged couples and attend an hour long music/sermon service to follow. I like listening to the discussion and pastors sermon. Shouldn't I be leaving this place filled with love and joy and peace and happiness. I have been saved and baptised for a couple years. I live a modest, humble life and enjoy helping others and being considerate and caring toward others. Do any other christains experience these things?

many people believe that soul exists. also many believes that person is alive only till the soul is there in the body and person becomes dead the moment soul leaves the body, still no concrete proof.

I would think it would be like in America there are many people who do not agree with the president, but they are not going to revolt over it. Yes I know that is not a perfect analogy, but it is just to give you an idea of what I am trying to say. Anyway, thank you for your thoughts.

I'm a pretty charitable person. I live in Philadelphia and I see homeless people every day. Sometimes I give them some money and I donate to various other charities but something I always hear from people about giving to the poor is "How do you know they wont use it for drugs or alcohol?" This is true, I dont know what they'll use it for and they might go buy drugs or something. But something else came to mind... dont we donate a LOT of money to home owning Hollywood people that we KNOW use it for drugs and alcohol?

Just a thought to ponder :)

I don't want to seem arrogant, but if you have a low percentage of best answers is it because:

1) You don't read all the details of the question, and therefore your answer does not even address the question.

2) You insult people on a regular basis.

3) You answer with no knowledge of the subject at hand, do no research, and just post what you've "heard", or just want to hurry up and answer to get points.

Why do you think your percentage is low (below 5%)?

Ok guys as the title says, why would god send people to hell given the fact that in the bible he made them sinners according to the bible nothing happens outside of the fathers will, even Jesus said, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered" (Mt 10:29-30 NIV – best translation) According to this nothing happens outside of the fathers will, in fact Paul describes vessels of wrath in Romans 9:18-23 god making one of honor and one of dishonor. Said he will hardened whom he will. This brings up another thing, people get mad at atheist and all those who don’t believe in Jesus way but the truth is according to the bible at least that God hardened their hearts so Jesus way could not be understood or it was disclosed from them since it was his law that they be that way, since nothing happens outside of his will. For reference the scriptures say, “For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere: ‘He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts” (John 12:37-40 NIV). So why would someone go to hell when by Gods will they were made to be unbelievers and believers of something else, that even gay people are made gay by Gods will since nothing happens out side of it?

Please feel free to reply in general, but I am concerned specifically about Christian Zionism in the sense that Christians are attempting to fulfill Biblical prophesy through human actions, mainly involving political and military support for the state of Israel, no matter how they treat the Palestinians. From my Christian upbringing and understanding (incomplete, for sure) of the Bible, it is God alone who knows the time of the rapture and never asked us for help. It is not by human intervention that the rapture is going to be brought about, but this is what I see as the goal in Christian Zionism.

Ok, there's a girl in our band thats really hot, and I like her alot. I know she likes me too, because I can go up to her and just say hi, and she comes over and hugs me and stuff like that. I went to a party last night, and she happened to be there as well, so we slow danced with each other. Also, im great friends with her older brother. The one problem is, she's a Morman, which means she can't date until she's 16. I definately have time to wait 2 years until I can ask her, it will be early-middle of my senior year, she will be a junior. Is there anything I can do to make her see me more, despite that I will be waiting 2 years until I can ask her out? I can ask her out on a date or to go out and do something, but I probably can't ask her to be serious with me until she's 16.

Thanks in Advance!
