Yes, it does take a lot of energy. That is why we need people like Buddha, Jesus, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King and other messiahs to guide us. The world won't be at peace until it follows their examples.

It is nothing to do with God.
People ask "why does God hate homosexuals"? and similar questions. Simple answer to that and every other question like it. God does not hate - people hate.
The Bible speaks of many things that it does not tolerate in it's followers. These are then twisted and spouted by Christian extremists. It is these people who hate and preach false messages.
Oh for the days when Christians spread love and tolerance instead of hatred and intolerance. If we could just get back to the loving God of the bible and see the back of these self serving egotists, peace could become real and God would rejoice!!
