One could say that the proof is in the pudding. Look back at all the religions of the world, the various, "Pagan" beliefs. How many are dead? How many have fallen into what we now call "Mythology"? The Ancient Egyptians, the Greek, Romans, Scandivanians (vikings), many, many Arabic religions, countless tribal beliefs world wide... now look at that which is still standing? What are the two single most powerful religions on earth? Christianity, and Islam. Judaism as well, but of course it isn't nearly as major. These religions all say that the world was created by a God who revealed himself to a man called Abraham. They're the furthest reaching, most widespread and powerful belief sets in all human history.
Now then... what's more likely? That the God who bothered to create and order the universe would simply turn his back and vanish, his existence forgotten entirely? Or that that very God would continue to be recognized by his creation indefinitely?

I don't believe it is. I don't believe that the God of Abraham is the father of Jesus neither, man there is so much I want to say about the subject, I've been trying to find what the bible really means. I think a lot of people are being mislead. Don't get me wrong I believe in Jusus more than any thing else in the world but I don't belive the God of the old testament is his father, I hope I'm not wrong!!!

Good question! I am certain the God of Abraham is just as mythical as Zeus.
Mona: you assume the Bible is the world of God, but the only evidence that is true is the book itself, and a long line of people who believed the book. There is absolutely no evidence that "God" ever independently affirmed the truth of the Bible, and in fact, there is lots of evidence that the Bible was rewritten many times by men.

Since you wrote "God", I assume that you mean the true and living God of the Bible. If so, then all you need do is read the Bible. It clearly says that God is the Creator, that He is the God of Abram and the One who gave Abraham his name. Remember that Abram didn't become Abraham until God credited to him the faith that allowed Abram to do ANYTHING God told him to do. Abraham believed God -- and so do I.
The Creator in Genesis is the same God today.

i believe that the god is the god of abraham because the religion of abraham is the most logical and reasonable and the holy book given by god to the generation of abraham is still here without even a single mistake or change.

The psychological causes that folk believe in god(s) are elementary. See the first link for the video, "Andy Thomson: Why We believe in Gods" or purchase his e book on the second one link. also, look at Michael Shermer's "The Believing mind" on the third link, and his "Why human beings believe Invisible brokers administration the international" on the 4th link. there is also no favor for gods to describe the classic causes for a god -- foundation of the universe, foundation of existence, foundation of species, foundation of human beings, foundation of morality. BTW - The data shows that Jesus Christ is only a mythical personality and by no skill existed. The Shroud of Turin is a pretend.

Well, in the first place, Abraham was super sexy. He made out with his wife below Pharoh's window, so any guy that horny has to believe in the same God I do.
