Sometimes in the dark all you see is a smiling set of the whitest of white teeth.I think torches or lights on the hood would solve the problem so old women dont get robbed or raped. Mind you they would probably sell the lights for crack or something.

There is a episode in mahabharatha which clearly gives proof that the people in that age also knew the fact that the speed of light is fastest.
Can u tell that episode?

Don't give me that crap about God testing our faith. That's a cop-out. Trying to point to things like the complexity of the world won't work either. That can be more logically explained through science. It's really simple, God should prove his existence. If I heard a voice frome the sky say: "I am God, now watch this ". Then God takes Mount Everest, and drops it in the middle of Kansas....well I WILL believe. That's not to much to ask from an all powerful being. Is that proof ( REAL proof ) forthcoming ? Well....I'm waiting.

"SEND A LETTER" Day......?

Like Gay Pride Day, or even Rememberence Day, St Davids' Day, St Patricks' Day, St Andrews Day, etc why don't EACH AND EVERYONE of us send a letter to UK PM on a certain day - (beginning of Spring 21st March eg - being Natures way of beginning the natural year..a feeling of optomism everywhere..)?

The letter, showing your support for our Troops, who freely take up Arms in the Defence of our Nation so we can enjoy our freedom and peace, (even though, for the first time, we are actually seeing just how ill-equipped our men and women are in these conflict areas), so they NEED our constructive support - something EVERY PERSON can contribute to.. yes even YOU !

The letter needs to be addresssed to the UK Prime Minister..(and if USA wish to join in feel free - don't care whether letter is addressed to UK PM or US President !) and MUST be posted for a NEXT DAY DELIVERY so EACH letter arrives at EXACTLY the same time....

Simple concept for EVERYONE to do

Few days back I have read some where that Muslim men in Sindh, Pakistan married their daughters to their Holy book QURAN. Is this true? Is their religion allowed them or it’s a cultural thing? if cultural thing then why don’t they try to eliminate this evil? What their religious leaders are doing? And if it’s a religious thing, then what type of religion is this? Isn’t it’s a barbarian thing to marry a girl with a book? What the difference between Hindu and Muslims? As Hindu girls got married with trees snakes monkeys etc. ( got heard that Ashwaria Rai is going to marry with a tree) why Muslim claim that their religion is pure and free from all evil?
If both the religion are same then why they asked a separate home land in 1947 on the basis of religion?

South west of England.

Does anyone know of any organisations locally, that accept good quality presents for distribution to families in crisis this year?

Hi, have searched on the internet for organisations that accept hands-on practical help in the form of collecting presents for local children in poverty this christmas.
It appears that 'Shelter' and 'Salvation Army' doesn't accept that kind of hands-on help (working at a shelter is ok but not this).
My sons would like to collect presents from fellow students at college, for them to be wrapped, so that they can take them somewhere for distribution.

I know this sounds like the "Operation Christmas Child shoebox" scheme - but that is not what I mean.

What is your opinion of Hindus/ Hinduism? Would you ever consider marrying one? If the answer is no, would you consider marrying a Christian?
Also please mention your gender and if you are orthodox or not.

Thanks.
