It didn't occured to me (wait maybe a little) that so called Christians would answer me. I ask for help not judgements and condemnations. I believe in Jesus and the power of the word thats why I ask if anyone out there knows verses I can claim. I'm not into satanic practices and I hope you all don't experience the same one I did. God bless you all...only God knows.

ELECTRICA...
U shouldn't make assumptions about a fellow believer in the first place assuming I'm practicing any of the occult things u mentioned. When u answer, just answer within the question and not so many nonsense that has no connection with what I'm asking of. Everyone knows being a Christian doesn't excempt you from bad experiences. Your words are powerless & fell to the ground so ur right, it's not what I wanted to read nor expected to read. It's something only a religious person would tell. You call me judgemental, that's funny. I based my words on people's answers & I'm obligated to defend me so that's not being judgemental at all. However u thought & said ill about me because I had a bad experience & asked for help. I'm sorry if what I told hit right through, it's something you have to repent to. Maybe if u stop editing ur answers & just say sorry for assuming things u would realize that I didn't start anything with u. I forgive you.Eph.4:15 Speaking the TRUTH in love...

That would depend on what they are doing and how they are trying to scare you. Really, any of the verses can be used against them. Jesus usually started with "it is written..."

One of my favorites have been "He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world and by the authority of He who is in my I demand that you shut your trap!" My most favorite and often used verse is "no weapon that is formed against me shall prosper and any tounge that comes against me in judgement I will condemn". Don't worry about knowing the chapter and verse...Jesus didn't when he used the written word against Satan.

Often times, you'll find that just knowing what the bible says about you or your situation will bring peace to your heart and mind. That's because when you know the scriptures, you'll know if it's Satan trying to trip you up. Once you have that biblical knowlegde, you really don't need to say anything to that loser.

BEWARE: Make sure you are an adopted child of God (born-again christian). The book of Acts portrays a religious dude (not christian) trying to use the power of God against demons and the demons were like "who are you" and attacked him. YOU MUST BE BORN-AGAIN. But I'm guessing you are already.

Hi, Sue, I believe I recognise to which verse you're referring. Is it the only in Matt eleven:28 that reads, "Come to me, all YOU who're toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh YOU" or is it a fundamental suggestion from a mixture of verses? It is right that Jesus welcomes folks that activity religion in him (John three:sixteen; 10:27, 28). But as you've gotten found out, no longer every body will obtain this blessing (Matt 7:21; 20:27). Jesus used to be announcing to these scribes and Pharisees and Sadducees and people who had been meant to be taking the lead - must had been taking the lead - that they had been simplest retaining the persons blind by way of burdening them with useless traditions and targeting trivial matters alternatively than the Word of God (Matt 15:one million-eleven; sixteen:sixteen, 17). By targeting Jesus' ministry and his educating that simplest God's Kingdom can deliver peace and protection to mankind, that's what's going to keep. Giving Jehovah God the worship and the dignity and the credit score to our lifestyles is what's going to prevent (Rev four:eleven). Calling upon Jehovah God for steerage and path within the identify of Christ Jesus is the one approach that you're going to discover the reply (John 15:sixteen; Joel two:32; Acts two:21; Rom 10:thirteen). "The identify of Jehovah is a robust tower. Into it the righteous runs and is given defense." - Prov 18:10

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Both angels, and principalities and powers go under the heading of demons.

Jesus has had the victory over the devil, just follow his word. But a few helpful tips i can give is not to talk to demons, because if you talk to them, you are giving them allowance to reply.

Throw out all occultic items you have also, may God bless you.

Acts 16:18 And this she (girl with a evil spirit) did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, 'I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.' You command the demon to go in the name of Jesus. But you must be submitted to God. In James 4:7 'Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.' I trust that you are a Christian. If you are a young Christian please seek help from a matured Christian. May God's hands of protection be upon you. Amen.

Fear Not Death, fear that which can kill you (meaning kill your soul, and only God can condemn you eternal death).

Now, onto to demons. Demons are real, but they are nothing to be frightened of if you are saved. The Bible is clear on how to get rid of them

Resist the Devil, and he shall Flee

Or, in reference to a demon-possessed person, you simply say, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, demon be gone."

There's no need for a lot of hokey-pokey nonsense waving sticks and invoking the name of dead saints. Just call on Jesus and you will be saved.

I would actually consider welcoming them. What you're experiencing as "demons" feeds off of conflict. If you simply let them be or laugh at them, you'll feel a lot better and they won't torment you nearly as much.

There really isn't a great Bible verse that will save you. What can help you immediately is to stop fighting your emotions and let go of them.

The very name of Jesus makes the demons tremble!
If you do not know this verse, then you do not read your bible very well!
Go look it up & edit your question.

This is an experince from someone who claims he was posessed.. and I am not saying that this applies to you, but it dose give you the answer on how to get rid of them.. GOD IS THE ANSWER!!
here is the story (as unbelievable as it sounds)

i was "comming down" and was lying next to my wife in bed looking out the window. i was regretting having a few "hits", as i could not sleep and was worried my wife would wake up and find me wired (she could spot it a mile away). so i tried to pray (I WAS NOT SAVED YET), and to my chagrin, found it impossible to do. staring out my window i noticed something on my lawn (i know the difference between this and a drug induced trip), i looked for a while and figured it was a tarp, but then it moved, right towards the window (it's about 11 pm at this time) and stopped right in front of me. it was not a tarp, and i cannot describe it but to say it was not like anything i have ever seen. i could actualy "feel" it outside my window, and then it entered me. it was like being scitzo, i could "hear my thoughts" but could not act, or even talk. that is when i "felt" the urge to kill my wife, and it was overwelming. now my wife had been for the last year been evangelizing me, and i knew what this was, for she explained to me about the law of death and the Gift of Christ. the urge consumatted with me "flopping" as i tried to resist, i then remembered that my wife had told me that the devil and his minions hate Jesus, and seek to destroy anyone who would believe.

so "in my head" i began trying to say "Jesus save me" but could not, this struggle went on for some time, until i finally said it outloud. the Demon immediatly left me, the feeling cannot be described except to say i was free, in an instant every verse my wife had said to me came back to my mind. but the demon came back quickly, but this time he had no power, i said out loud (and in such a voice to wake the house) Jesus save me.
the demon left never to return, and i left the drug world never to return.
i spent the rest of the night praying for God to make me His.
when i looked at the clock i realized that the whole night had vanished (felt like minutes). the next day i read the bible (amazingly for the first time, thou i had always "knew" what it had said), and that sunday i went to church, and shortly after that i became convinced of my salvation.

now you may not believe me, but i was there, and can still (to this day) remember the thoughts i had that night.

i would like to say though i do not think demons are as active today as they were at the time of Jesus, but God can still use them to "put the fear of God" into an ex-drugdealer like me.

and it has been an effective testimony for meth addicts, as many have seen similar things in their lives. now i (God really) help to get poeple out of this lifestyle.
