Attention Punter: She meant the HOLY Bible.

There's too many of them to choose from. I guess whatever one is most relevant to me at any given time. The most central and crucial verse from the Holy Bible is this, and I accurately paraphrase:

"God loved the world so much that He sacrificed His only biological Son so that anyone who puts their faith and trust in His Son will live in eternity with Him." - John 3:16

Revelation 3

8I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. 9I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. 10Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. 11I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name.

1 john 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. God loves sinners so much to make them his children! The world will not understand!

I John 3:16

"Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren."

This is my favorite for two reasons, first, it defines love for us. Love is an ACT, it is something you do, not something you feel.
Second, the phrase laying down your life doesn't just mean dying or being willing to die for someone else. It means laying down your life (all days of your life) in service to others, that is the true spirit of the passage. We ought to be willing to give every day of our lives in service to our brothers and sisters, just as Christ did.
