Pray. And trust in God that He is still in control. To me, that's total serenity. Peace.

I just remember the good days and time. I think that its a phase of time and will change soon. I have to admit it creates frustration but once you cop-up you will feel more stronger. I know the things which make us desperate seems lose gravity after some time. Have faith in God.

I try to read a book and not think about what is making me desperate. Watch a movie, preferably something funny and by the time its over, so is your desperation. Good Luck and God Bless.

Try not to react.
Sit with your thoughts and let the desperation pass.

I do simple chanting meditation to stop the thoughts from crowding in, this brings calm and helps me to think of more positive things and solutions. I chant "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo"

I open a bottle of champagne, I pour a few drop of bluberry cream in a glass, then I pour the champagne over it. The champagne of course is properly chilled at about 4°C.
I than dring it slowly and repeat the process untill the bottle is empty. It realy works !

Talk to someone. Once I can get it out and talk it over, I calm down a lot.
