It's not a second chance, really. But there is another judgment called the Great White Throne Judgment. It is where God will judge non believers according to the works they have done on earth. If you want to look it up, it can be found here: Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Peace.

Only time comes during Judgement day, some never heard of Jesus, so therefore... the day will guide you to either direction to left or right. This maybe too simple to say, let say it either red apple or orange, you pick to eat... no not like tic tac toe! It'll be judge based on your heart & mind & soul. Once the puzzle is put together, the judgement day will be final. How the heck would I know, gee I am guessing here.

i'm afraid that noone gets a second chance, no, we're all stuck in desperados ville and noone's getting out. what am i saying? i'm not afraid, death being the end is the greatest gift we could ever have! haven't you read tolkien's silmarillion? or simone de beauvoirs count fosca? they were right: death is a gift, eternity would be meaningless and we would all long for death eventually. when i die i plan to look back on my life and say, if i had my time over i would change nothing. not whine about ooh i'm so scared of dying, please mummy tell me a story about how we don't have to die, please i can't face death so i need a security blanket ooh aren't i just a spiritual coward?
