I have a co worker that makes the most disgusting eating noises and she listens in on conversations and butts in on everything - we have tried being subtle and dropping hints but nothing gets thru - she cries at the drop of hat and we don't want to hurt her feelings but she is sooooooo disgusting - "Disgusted in Tennessee"

Is it because gay women are more private? But then gay men are more private because there is more pressure on them in society.

I did an essay and in a book it said there are equal numbers. It doesn't seem that way. Although there are alot of women who claim to be bisexual to please men, that is embarrassing.

does anyone know the relationship between atheism and the atheist's lack of a father/male role model growing up?

I heard this question posed in college awhile back and wondered. Apparently there is a correlation between atheists and being raised without a father or being abandoned by a father. Interesting, wondered if anyone had ever heard that before. (And I'm NOT asking for "What kind of a god would allow child abuse and war and blah blah blah...")

Tis' the season for retail company's to make money, did you know 70% of all Major retail stores' profits are aquired around the Holidays. Its funny to see people going through stress, spending money they dont even have, putting themselves in finincial debt, neighbors competing to see who can waste the most electricity on Christmas decorations. Its insane, I bet a majority of kids don't even know what the true meaning of x-mas is. I know when i was a kid, all christmas meant was toys toys toys! I even saw people decorating their house with turkeys and pilgrims in their front lawn last month, even though the pilgrams back-stabbed the Natives and wiped them out to almost extinction!? It just goes to show you how most Americans just accept what they've been taught society is "supposed" to do with NO QUESTIONS ASKED while the rich get richer and the MIDDLE-CLASS gets poorer. God bless America!

Don't you think we might be better off without them?
I mean, who cares about kilts and haggis when the Middle East is on the verge of World War 3.
I'm fed up that no one ever mentions this and we're all meant to act like we're friends with them.
All they do is drink whiskey, fight at football games and shout at my dog when it goes in their garden.

WE all know that according to the Scriptures we have all sinned and will continue to sin. But if your a true christian you can understand that Jesus would not kill in self defense! But You or I would kill to save our own lives, Which is the most common response to such a threat. So why do we, as a predominantly christian country, Kill and murder people who are not a threat to our lives but maybe to our way of LIFE. From recent responses people would have me to believe the LORD ordered it so! Please don't get caught up on the last sentence, Answer the entire ???? How could Adam and Eve know that it was wrong to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, without the knowledge of good and evil (which they only obtained when they ate the fruit? Even God telling them wouldn't be good enough because they wouldn't have any reason to believe he was good and that what he was telling them was correct. If so, how can they be blamed?

Please don't answer with 'it didn't happen', I know that, I just want to understand the philosophy behind the story.

the wall was in blue glittery writing and it said something like "God is in control, God will get you through, God's reason for everything..God will bring it back... there was more writing in the dream however i started to become very analytical like i am in reality and started to question how it got there...after in the dream i got of bed and went for a swim in the most beautiful pool it was huge and the water was very clear i went for a swim ( in reality i can't swim) I went for one full circle for in the pool my head was above the water though because i didn't want to get my head wet....The water was perfect to me i came out of the water and I dried myself... Colonialism stopped some 40 years ago for most of the third world. Since then, shortcomings - namely civil war, corruption, economic and political misery has dogged most of these countries, especially those on the African continent. The ex colonial powers were always blamed for 'raping' the colonies of resources, but this is not entirely true as Nigeria is the 8th largest oil producing country in the world yet 80% live in poverty. Should colonial bashing stop? Should these countries have a good look at what is going wrong and try to fix it - by themselves. As an Irishman, we obtained freedom from Britain in 1922 and were a poor country, yet we have not spiralled into the depravation that has befallen Africa. Dare I play a race card here? I will be interested in what other people think.

Did you know that the original language of the books of the bible where it mentions Jesus has brothers and sisters that the word of "cousin" wasn't in use?

And many times all those who followed Him were allowed in His family as brothers and sisters.

Also, the word "until" you read in your english version of the Bible did not have the same conotation in its original language.

If I'm done with my work and I have checked for errors, should I have to help my co-worker when she bullshits and takes all day to complete one task? I even picked up a couple other tasks and she was still working on the same thing. So now she calls in today and the things she needs to complete are still sitting on her desk. its like she doesnt want to do her share of work. i used to get stuck with doing all the mail but the supv split it up so everything is eqaul. there are things that both of us should do, but i think the boss gives them to be because she thinks i am more reliable than my co-worker. I am not a kiss @ss either, but I am no fool either.

Putting those kind of things, on a site like this, that children can axcess, is illegal, a federal offense, a felony charge, and can be considered, in some states, mine inculded, considered an offence that will put you on the sex offender regisrty for up to 10 years. I know these are just people looking to get a rise out of us, but it is a legal and serious matter.

Report them for their OWN good, before someone makes it a bigger issue for them, ok?

so ive heard both sides of this argument, gays choose to be gay and if they wanted to they could be straight or gays dont choose to be gay just like heterosexuals dont chose to be straight, it gives me a headache. also why do people care if gays marry or not straight people cant even keep it together
