Christians manage to believe simultaneously in a peace-advocating turn-the-other-cheek god in Jesus alongside the vengeful Old Testament god, Jesus' father. It is a contradiction that different denominations handle in different ways. Most seem to take this ambiguity as a license to pick and choose which aspects of their god and their bible best suits their own beliefs and feelings. If they are angry, condemnatory people they will look to the vengeful god and cite passages of the Bible that back up their self-righteous crusade against others. You need only look at the Christian groups that devote themselves to hating gays or bombing abortion clinics. Others will selectively ignore the Old Testament god, as well as the largely overlooked passages of the New Testament that show Jesus' vengeful side, to find a Christian message that backs up their own core belief in peace and charity. In other words, the Christian testaments are a menu from which different denominations pick and choose to suit their tastes.

Today there rages a war. A war that is not often seen by our eyes. It is a war between to armies: The Army of Light, whose leader is the Creator of all mankind, and the Army of Darkness, whose leader once served the Creator, yet became proud in the end. Both fight for the souls of mankind, yet in end only one will reign victorious over the other. Every now and then, we see glimpses of this war. You see it when you go to school. You see it when you go to work. When we you hang out with your friends. When you watch your television. When you (dare I say it) pay your taxes (But I won't go there). Yet, even though this war still rages, the Truth is that it has already been won long ago, when the Son of the Creator sacrificed himself willingly so that we could all join his army on our own free will. Yet, the Lord of Darkness still believes that he is winning. That is the situation at hand. The big question is...which side will you be on when the world ends?...

As you refer to A GOD AT WAR
No way ! WE seek justice for the murder of Innocents.
The religious idiots who murder and continue to murder In the world today are committing suicide by the righteous.
Zealots who have lost sight that they can not succeed.
Why don't they accept their freedom?
Satan's religion That continues to condone the murder and claim it is also peace. Hypocrisy!!!!

Jesus said he didn't come to bring peace but to bring a sword (referencing that the truth about Himself would bring division and wars and persecution)...dividing even between soul and spirit.

God has used wars all through history.

Christ taught peace among the believers, not to unbelievers. Armageddon is to show fools like you that there is a God and you will be judged for rejecting Him.

These people planning it, aren't even real Christians, anyway. They bow down to a owl. But the real Christians fail to see it. Non of it has anything to do with God.

That has nothing to do with "god" as you are referring to s/he/ it, & everything to do with the people who choose to believe in god in terms of the christian bible and revelation.

THOSE people believe that the sooner we use up all the resources and screw this planet up beyond repair for human life... Their saviour will come and rapture them up leaving all the non believers to suffer.

It's their really demented way of trying to get to their god faster.

Who said he planned it? God gave us free will knowing that this would happen. He just trusts people to do the right thing.
