I have heard that black people eat unhealthy, speak ebonics all the time, play basketball or football (or any sport), always listen to hip-hop, are loud and ghetto. I hate it when people expect you to act like the stereotype and if you don't, you are trying to be white. And I heard that white people can't dance (which is also untrue because there are white people who dance better than me).

In St. Louis we have a large Bosnian population. It is not uncommon to hear middle aged people of all races stereotype the Bosnian community as freeloaders, smelly, unclean.

I happen to have a Bosnian family next door, the Adults have just recently been through naturalization, thus gaining their citizenship. You would be hard pressed to find two people more proud to be a legal citizen of this country. Thier knowledge of our countries history would shame most native citizens that I know.

Stereotypical behavior is less prominent among people ages 30 and younger these days. It is the older generation that struggles with race issues. However gender stereotyping is becoming more prevalant. watch television and look at all the commercials featuring balding overwieght men with very attractive female partners. Look at the vonage commercial with the dumb blonde swimming with sharks, it goes on and on.

Well, for Black people, it's that they're all ghetto, uneducated, promiscuous, low-class, on welfare, lazy, love to mooch off of the government, are loud, rude, play the race card whenever possible, eat lots of unhealthy food (like fried chicken), Black men are deadbeat dads, have bad attitudes, are angry at the white man, steal, murder, etc. Basically, Black people have a lot of really bad stereotypes hanging around. Other races...well, they have stereotypes too, but they're generally not as bad..if anything, the stereotypes about most other racial groups are good (although some twist them to appear bad). I wonder why Black people are generally regarded as so low on the social ladder.

Black boy bounce beds better (never been with a white guy and I can STILL back that theory up ;) .....uhhh white boys have pink ones....black women are mean....mexicans park their cars any and every where. ...thats all for the moment but as we both know, there are tons more and sterotypes exist for a reason. ... hmmm wish I could help more. now answer my Q LOL

I additionally can understand what Nigerian says, and that i maximum agree together with her.
