Do you remember how you decided that a child in the womb is not alive?

If you are a Christian and you believe that a child in the womb is not alive, then you are saying that Jesus was not alive in the womb of His Blessed Mother. Is that what you believe?

If the child is alive (which is true), then how can you say killing a child is OK?

I read on a website that He did but it was destroyed. I'm uncertain as to the credibility of the site, does anyone have any information on this?

I've seen some really good questions about religion - (whichever one it is) but a lot of the responses are really nasty or sarcastic. Why??

People are often asking questions that they don't know the answers to and I thought that was the whole idea of this system. It doesn't mean they are stupid, gullible, brainwashed or anything else.

Paul said, "If Jesus didn't rise from the dead we are to be pitied mor than all men...and your faith would be worthless."

Can you prove that, contrary to biblical & secular accounts, Jesus DIDN'T rise from the dead?

Neither of us are particularly religious, but we'd like to go to Grace Cathedral Church on Christmas day. There are two services, described on the website:

"Christmas is on Monday this year, and the Cathedral will celebrate with a Festal Choral Eucharist at 11am, and an afternoon Christmas Carol service at 3pm."

Any recommendations on which one to go to?

I don't think it is. Even if I suffered severe brain trauma and become a totally different person, I don't think I could ever subscribe to any faith ever again b/c that doubt would always be there...I also think that anyone who claims to have been turned away from atheism was probably not an atheist in the first place.

What do you think?

The National Socialist German Workers Party [the official name of the "Nazi Party"] was, among other things, homicidally homophobic. The Nazis ruthlessly enforced Paragraph 175 of the German Penal Code [Germany's anti-sodomy law] sent thousands of gay men to their deaths at Auchwitz and other concentration camps.

Despite that, there were many gay men in the Nazi Party, including top leaders like Ernst Rohm (head of the SA, the Nazi Party's militia and a founder of the Nazi Party). And there were many more bisexual men like Hermann Goering (the head of the Luftwaffe - the German Air Force and the number two man in Nazi Germany during most of World War II)

Why were there so many gay men in a ruthlessly anti gay organization? How did the Nazis reconcile their homophobia with the reality that so many of their leaders were gay? And today, are there many gays in the neo-nazi movement?

[BTW, I hope some of the nazis who post on the LGBT forum answer this question!!!]

I have several Christmas parties to attend this year, the first is tomorrow with my wife, at an after hours hotel and club. Then one the next night with my wife and children. Does it seem like we try to crowd to many activities into this season? How do you handle the stress?

Its all over the news nowadays. The most recent stories are about bosses banning christmas in the workplace for fear of getting sued by people of different religions. This is crazy, I can't think of any catholics or christians who are offended by muslim customs.

if your biracial or not you may understand. I myself, am half black/half white, when people ask me my race. I say white, just to throw them off. I am a darker than the average "milano" person. I consider myself "other" because my dad isnt 100% black and my mom mostly white. But this is the thing i dont understand, the criticizm. At a young age, i knew i was different. Black girls telling me " you act too white " and pulling my curly hair telling me its a weave, when it wasnt. And white girls telling me that i should stop acting white. I dont appreciate either of the comments from either races, i am me. No one else, I am proud of who i am, half black and half white. I could be put in a sterotype of " prep " but i get critized for it often. I, personally am physically attracted to white/hispanic/asian boy, I cant tell you why, but I personally am. Why is that so wrong in society? Because I look black i must be black and like black boys? Or act black? I dont under America somedays.
