Do you remember how you decided that a child in the womb is not alive?
If you are a Christian and you believe that a child in the womb is not alive, then you are saying that Jesus was not alive in the womb of His Blessed Mother. Is that what you believe?
If the child is alive (which is true), then how can you say killing a child is OK?
*** This question is directed at Christians. If you are not Christian, please don't respond. There are plenty of other questions for you to answer...

Instead of saying "Catholic and non-Catholic", why don't you just say, "Christian"?
Because there are many who falsely believe that Catholics are not Christian.
And there are groups who call themselves Christian but reject the Divinity of Jesus, i.e. mormons and jehovah's witnesses.

"Do you think that a child that is deformed by Thalidomide should be allowed to suffer the birth? If you were raped?"
You are saying that if a person is sick or deformed, then we should just kill that person. I know there are many people living with a deformity right now who would disagree with you.
As for rape, what you are really saying is that we should punish the innocent child with the death penalty for the actions of the criminal, i.e. the rapist. That is ridiculous.

I am Christian , but not catholic, and I am pro life, so dont mind if I respond do you? You are correct. and those who use all kinds of other stuff to say its ok, are just in the dark. Even a baby in the womb, has human dna. and its growing, so its alive. no matter how tiny, and even if it doesnt look like a baby yet, it is an alive, growing human with human dna . and will soon be born to be another human being that can now live outside the womb. I loved your comments about Jesus being in the womb. Wonderful analogy, but ppl will continue to debate this, cuz so many today want to do whatever they want and not be held accountabile for it. But, the blood of that baby is on their hands, and everyone involved, including the doctors. We can just pray that many will repent, turn from it and receive Gods forgiveness. Because if they dont, they are lost. Only God is to give life or take it away, so they are playing God, and thats blasphemy. There are groups today tht say any older person should be killed or those with disabilities. When we as a country, lessen the value of human life, God removes His blessing, and please take a look at how this nation has changed since they made abortion legal. These folks can aruge till the cows come home about it being ok, but its not, and they will be cursed for it. Just pray, its all we can do, and stand up about our beliefs. God calls us to live His word and obey Him, and to tell others about Him, but we cant make anyone else hear God , let alone obey . Thats Gods job. I love how women yell about their rights. Our rights end when we steop on someone elses. Who says this baby has to die. I am a strong pro life person. and even in cases of rape or incest, it is still wrong. Baby had no say in that. But, they can give up that baby to someone else, if they dont want it. Huge long adoption lists exsist. give up this baby and let someone else love it. For so many, its used even as a means of birth control. some gals says and brag they have had many abortions, and yet still sleeping around. God forbid. Innocnet little babies dying all over due to the sins of others. No way you slice it, something wrong with that picture.... I just love and appreciate so much those Christians that are willing to be real about this and speak up. God will bless you greatly here and in heaven. Press on with Jesus.

This really is not a discussion of how many think abortion is OK, for very few believe that abortion is OK, or would ever even consider one.
What you need to understand, is that some believe that making abortion illegal will not solve the problem, and that discussion and education are the best ways to prevent abortions from occurring. I think we should do both.

I am a Christian and I totally agree with you. How could someone kill another human being??? Whenever people bring that up, I always say, "You wouldn't be to fond of the idea if that's what your mother did that to you." It is a totally innocent living child you are killing. That is so wrong.

God forgives abortions and He would make a way to not have one if the child was of great importance. It is not like people usually have serial abortions and keep sinning.
Remember David had his friend killed by sending him into unwinable battle to get the man's wife as she was pregnant and God himself caused harm to that child and later forgave David and they reconciled with one another.
I think a more important message would be that women who have had abortions can reconcile with the Lord. I mean His message was more of forgiveness and change than condemnation except with Jewish lawyers.

The Catholic Church is not just against abortion, it is pro-life in the widest sense. This is often called a "Consistent Ethic of Life."
This pro-life stance stresses the highest regard for dignity of human life including that of:
- All people in objecting to unjust war and nuclear arms.
- The unborn in objecting to to abortion, in fitro fertilization, frozen embryos, embryonic stem cell research, and cloning
- The elderly, sick and dying in objecting to assisted suicide and euthanazia
- Prisoners in objecting to the death penalty
- The poor and minorities in supporting social justice issues.
With love in Christ.

I don't believe abortion is ok, but wanted to respond.
The problem would be solved if someone would say when life begins.
If you believe it is at conception, then the morning after pill is abortion.
If you believe it is when the fetus has brainwaves, then it should be illegal when the fetus is less than 8 weeks in gestation.
If you believe it is when the fetus moves , . . . . . . on and on.
Just thank God they finally made partial birth abortions illegal as they were crushing sculls to get these babies out.
God Bless America the land of the free . . . . . . .to do whatever you want.

Sadly, trinitarians repeatedly pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian. Trinitarians use an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.
The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".
In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"
(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.
(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”
(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name
So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

Yes, I am a devout Christian. When Mary was with child (Jesus), the angels above knew life in the womb is life to cherish. Thank God nobody wanted to do stem cell research. Now we have salvation through Jesus Christ.
Never mind my nemesis.
With love in Christ.
